I think there may be either an ambiguity or a pun in “the valley of Bekaa” because the Hebrew for “He wept” is Bakah.

“Bekaa” is the place in Lebanon. It could be a different spelling in the RSV; mine is locked in the TV cabinet right now, and the Spanish version has yet another spelling.
