“The only thing really incomprehensible are the creeds themselves.”

Incomprehensible to a mormon who doesn’t like reading
the scriptures like the Bereans - but prefer to take
marching orders without thought.

They are entirely Biblical and comprehensible.

And as for “telling you what you believe”, no, I don’t do that. I tell anyone who will read my witness what the LdS church believes and teaches.

***

It is a known fact that those who read their scriptures daily or often and do the will of the Lord do not apostized

___

Oh woe, what to do with the apostates who were once in the church.

I know, cast them into outer darkness, that’ll get ‘em!

***

How silly if one were to go outer darkness would it not be their own doing...

The attitude of many here seems pretty much in line with those of telestial kingdom.

I noticed a hint of avoidance by Mormons to speak of the Crucifixion......is there a reason they avoid this from their doctrinal point of view? Just how do they view the Crucifixion?

But one will NOT make it thru ETERNITY with one of the choices.

So says your faith that NT writings, which the Catholics have given you, are infallible. And another way of saying Mormons will be in hell. Why don't ya just come right out and say it? Tell Resty and Saundra they're going to hell? You know you want to.

The attitude of some here seems pretty much in line with those who have nominated themselves as being superior and will have a very painful wake up call when they find out they aren't superior to ANYONE.

In the political world, I believe that is what’s known as being a “moderate”.

What confounds me about Utah is that they will not allow those little “individual serving” bottles of wine. You know, those nice, ordinary but servicable Sutter Home-type bottles that come in a four pack. Just right for a recipe or for one for dinner.

But if they INSIST, I will polish off a whole full-bottle in three (ok TWO) days. Whatever.

Just how do they view the Crucifixion?

Mormon belief of the Crucifixion seems to be that in order to distance mormonism from Christianity, the Atonement was the climax of Christ's mission and he sweat blood in Gethsamane...then the Crucifixion, because the Cross would be a featured player, was just the anticlimax to the Atonement.

Those early leaders worked real hard to put a lot of ground between Christian belief and mormon belief.

That was before some PR flack convinced the leaders in Salt Lake that mormons ought to be called "Christians".

A Response to Latter-day Saints Who Say, "We Never Criticize Christian Churches"

The mormon "motto" is Choose the Right...Christians prefer to

Elsie.....His “experience” was with demonic entities no doubt. “Friendly” spirits always impersonate “light”.
People who practice occults and Hinduism/Buddhism etc. often times have encounters with entities....but all are demonic. I understand Joseph Smith was involved with mysticism as well.... Any leader who boasts of encounters with the unseen world are being influenced by demonic entities no matter what they want to believe.... who will present themselves as impersonaters of past loved ones or former saints, angels etc. It is never wise and in fact dangerous to entertain contact such as this....let alone allow in ones life.

Well the false mormon doctrines might say that...

But the Bible makes it clear that if someone winds up in Hell it is entirely due to their own doing and their own decision...
