Well, I prefer a balanced approach and obtain as many opinions from all options which might be available....especially from the opposition or competitor...this way I then have the confidence of being as informed as possible before I make a final determination.

Well if you are speaking of spiritual matters than that is quite another approach altogether.....

.....all must conform to the scriptures regardless of the source of information offered or individual offering that. Be it from a church pastor, author, or writings of old, or any other source.

Jesus and His disciples all spoke and reasoned with others and among themselves thru the revealed and written word of God. Since they stood on scripture than that is more than enough for me or anyone one else to do likewise....and the Holy Spirit will work just as He does thru that.

My point isn’t to “name names”. My point is to make a general point about the some truly mean-spirited behavior (behavior that has the exact same effect in FR as a leftist mole turning us against each other would have) and getting those engaging in that behavior to think for a moment about what it is they are actually doing. “Naming names” is not necessary and would be counter-productive.

Besides, I have a feeling that the “naming names” is proceeding quite nicely of its own accord, without any help from me at all.

Is there a difference between Latter Day Saints and Mormons or are they one in the same? If not the same how do their beliefs differ if any?

There are MANY groups that hold the book of MORMON to be scripure.

The BIGGEST bunch (Salt Lake City) think that only THEY should be allowed to be called MORMON (Didja ever notice BULLIES are the big ugly kid on the schoolground?).

Years ago, they BRISTLED with indignation (Hmmm... where've we seen THAT before) if called MORMON; now they embrace it.
