Jesus and His disciples all spoke and reasoned with others and among themselves thru the revealed and written word of God. Since they stood on scripture than that is more than enough for me or anyone one else to do likewise....and the Holy Spirit will work just as He does thru that.

Exactly.
Mormons put their feelings first, then faith, then facts only if they fit.
They will put their feelings over the Bible every time (since they teach the Bible is full of errors).
Both of these are common characteristics of the cults.
