Planting The Prophetic Dagger

Fresh off of giving the opening address at the annual Bilderberg Group's meeting, Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, whose country currently holds the European Union's rotating presidency, is calling for the EU to adopt a "strong, joint EU position" on Gaza and Israel's blockade of it.

The following is an excerpt from an EUBusiness.com article on the topic:

"Zapatero said his foreign minister, Miguel Angel Moratinos, would propose to his EU colleagues at a meeting on Monday that the 27-nation bloc "clearly declare itself in favour of ending the blockade of the Gaza Strip."

Moratinos said in a television interview this week that the ministers would discuss "a plan for lifting the blockade" in order to "ensure the entry" of humanitarian aid, commercial goods and people.

In spite of the fact there is video evidence that Israeli commandos who boarded the ship in the recent Gaza flotilla incident were immediately attacked by what was essentially a lynch mob of so-called 'activists', the international community is in an absolute feeding frenzy, issuing undeserved condemnation after condemnation against Israel and, beyond even that, now wants to end the Israeli naval blockade of the Gaza Strip.

The anti-Israel bias in the apparently forthcoming unified call of the EU to end the Gaza blockade is visible for all to see, its stated end goal of getting humanitarian aid and commercial goods to the Palestinians being completely unnecessary to be asked for to begin with.

The Israeli government has routinely redirected ships attempting entry to Gaza to a port in Ashdod where, after inspection of their cargo to ensure terrorist elements inside Gaza aren't being passed weaponry or equipment useful in building weaponry, anything not considered to be dangerous, (like humanitarian aid), has been delivered to Gaza via trucks and given to the Palestinian people. So why all the fuss? Obviously because Israel's blockade strategy is working thus far, preventing ships loaded with not only dangerous cargo but terrorist passengers from landing in Gaza which is rocking everyone's boat, no pun intended.

Why, if Israel is trucking all the humanitarian aid and commercial goods from Ashdod to Gaza, is it SO important to the entire world that ships be allowed to port directly in Gaza? It's a million dollar question, from my perspective.

Furthermore, why is an extra step being taken by Israel to ensure there is no conflict or unnecessary bloodshed in the troubled Middle East, particularly between the Israelis and Palestinians, so upsetting to the European Union, Turkey, etc.? After all, isn't a reduction in violence and conflict what the international community says it wants for the region? All of this uproar about the Gaza blockade doesn't make a lot of sense unless there is a strong anti-semitic spirit involved behind the scenes, a spirit of the Psalm 83:4 variety: "They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance."

"Mike, are you suggesting that the entire world, even the European Union, has some sort of hatred against Israel?"

"Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. The entire world, for the most part, is against the nation of Israel as prophesied for the end times. Not only that, Israel is developing a new enemy in these last days, the United States of America under the Obama administration."

The Weekly Standard is reporting the following in part (emphasis added mine):

"THE WEEKLY STANDARD has learned that senior Obama administration officials have been telling foreign governments that the administration intends to support an effort next week at the United Nations to set up an independent commission, under UN auspices, to investigate Israel's behavior in the Gaza flotilla incident. The White House has apparently shrugged off concerns from elsewhere in the U.S. government that a) this is an extraordinary singling out of Israel, since all kinds of much worse incidents happen around the world without spurring UN investigations; b) that the investigation will be one-sided, focusing entirely on Israeli behavior and not on Turkey or on Hamas; and c) that this sets a terrible precedent for outside investigations of incidents involving U.S. troops or intelligence operatives as we conduct our own war on terror."

"While UN Ambassador Susan Rice is reported to have played an important role in pushing for U.S. support of a UN investigation, the decision is, one official stressed, of course the president's."

President Obama, who attended a church for twenty years from the pulpit of which anti-semitic rhetoric poured forth on a routine basis is reportedly going to plant a dagger in Israel's back in the next week when there is absolutely no just cause for an investigation to be carried out against Israel whatsoever by the United Nations. Who would've guessed it? I would've. Why? Because I wouldn't have, as a born-again Christian, attended an anti-semitic church for twenty minutes let alone 20 years! That President Obama did, which I and a host of other Christian writers warned likely meant he could be an anti-Israel president, speaks volumes. While there is still time for President Obama to change his mind, which we need to pray for if The Weekly Standard's sources are correct, I wouldn't bet the farm on anything other than Israel getting thrown under the bus.

How blind can they be?

Anyone who gives an unbiased look at the current environment in the Middle East, all of Israel's enemies openly frothing at the mouth while gathering arms to attack her, has to know that the tiny nation can't rest on its laurels where protecting its lands and people are concerned, but here we are! It is senseless, but here we are.

The entire world is bowing to the god of this world, looking past the overwhelming amount of evidence that Turkey, along with radicals and terrorists from around the globe, perhaps even a White House insider, purposefully created the scenario that led to the Gaza flotilla confrontation and are now hoping to cook up what will be a completely biased investigation that will ultimately form some pathetic likeness of an excuse to stab at Israel and place her in greater peril.

While all of this is disturbing to read and consider, this is what the prophetic scenario documented in the Holy Bible tells us the last days is supposed to look like. Simply put, a major component of the last days features Satan, the god of this world, and the ungodly in control of many nations trying to destroy the nation of Almighty God's chosen people, the Jews, a scenario that will not be decided in fullness until Christ's visible, physical, bodily return at the Battle of Armageddon.

With every passing day, it seems to me, we can look at the prophetic horizon and see a bit more clearly the smoke rising from lies ahead. May God have mercy on those He is willing to. Things are about to become very ugly it appears.

The entire world is turning against Israel in fulfillment of Zechariah 12:2-3:

“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah (Israel) and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”

But what does that say about those of us who still support Israel, despite of and in the face of the perfidious Obama administration and the perfidious Europeans?

I don’t think it’s referring to individuals- I believe that the people who will make the decision (and already have) to turn against Israel are the governments of the nations of the world.
