A few of the priests from my diocese are there, too (not as official reps, because our bishop hates the Motu Propio and is none too fond of this Pope). However, they went on their own because they have been very inspired by this Year of the Priest.

That’s wonderful. Is your bishop due to retire soon?

Meanwhile, prayers for a deeper conversion for him.

It always turns me off when local bishops voice their disdain for our Pope. The other day, I was visiting a church when the focus of the conversation was why woman couldn't be priests and how unfair it was. Adoration seems like a side line in some of the politically correct churches.

I am grateful that my home church is very conservative and the church is bursting at the seams. They are so devout and we actually have home grown seminarians! It is a joy to attend Mass where JESUS is the name in which we pray! There is so much charity for the poor because JESUS IS THE FOCUS!
