Wherever one goes today multitudes of teens and young children can be seen avidly imitating and idolizing the vast array of musicians and their decadent chic culture and lifestyle. Television, satellite radio, iPods and the internet have revolutionized and intensified the accessibility to this hypnotic, godless spirit (2 Cor. 4:3-4; Eph. 2:1-2). Americas youth in particular are being intoxicated and brainwashed at an exponential rate with Lucifers subtle and godless message of Do as Thou wilt.
What is even more tragic is the majority of out to lunch parents who are totally oblivious and gullible about the damnable influence this culture and its demonic propaganda has over their children. These are messages of godlessness, anti-authority, licentiousness and promiscuity, immorality, vice, drug use, suicide, anarchy, violence, rape, godless good, delusional aspirations and fallen human hopes apart from the Creator in righteousness. These OTL parents are just as delusional and are products themselves of the same brainwashing and narcissistic tactics used by the Devil in the decadent and subjective 60s music culture.

If the message in it is not Christ centered and the theme is “Do as thou wilt...” then you have a big influence. Don’t sell your self short my friend.,,,
Exactly... it has gotten worse and it has been accepted as the norm. Look how far we have fallen since the 50s. If we were to take someone from 1950s and teleport them to todays culture what would you think they would think?.. They would think that we have become a savage and tribal people .
I use to play on Guitar
Ozzy, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Metallica... etc
for what it worth... I know what I’m talking about

They would think, "I can make incredibly good coffee in minutes? I can heat leftover pizza in seconds? My gasoline in constant dollars is as cheap as it always was? The air is cleaner? The water is cleaner? The clothes are cheaper and better? Everything except for certain types of furniture is cheaper? There is a wider variety of imported foods regardless of the season from all over the world? I can get food to go almost any time of the day and night from a variety of fast food places? I can play music from CDs or DVDs or download it directly into a player from the internet? I can have a home computer that is thousands of times more powerful than what will be used over 10 years from now in 1969 to send Americans to the moon and even talk to friends and family around the world for nothing through Skype? I can play incredibly cool video games with a whole bunch of other people in other countries all at the same time and talk to them while we're playing the same game on our different computers or game consoles? I can find and download almost any work of music or literature or movie in seconds or minutes? I can buy stuff in the comfort of my home that is far cheaper than I can often get it in a store and often have it shipped to me for free and sometimes without state sales tax? I can look up Bible versus through Biblegateway.com in a variety of translations either by reference or by keywords? You guys have an incredibly awesome culture, except for leftist liberal nut jobs. "

I am very much aware of this. I rail against it to my kids (even though I enjoy some of the music).
Sometimes it’s like talking to a brick wall.

That’s what the blogger is saying - Elvis WAS the DI, as well as Sinatra and Benny Goodman. Secular music leads children AWAY from God, therefore it is sinful.

If folks actually read the lyrics from many of IM’s songs they would probably learn more about history than they learn in school.
IM is one of my favorites, I’ll check out Keldian and Blind Guardian. Are they similar to IM?

COMMANDER GILMORE: This is Commander Gilmore, U.S. Strategic Command, and General Borchefsky, Russian Intelligence.
AUSTIN POWERS
Russian Intelligence? Are you mad?
COMMANDER GILMORE: A lot’s happened since you were frozen. The Cold War’s over.
AUSTIN POWERS: Well! Finally those capitalist pigs will pay for their crimes, eh? Hey, comrades? Eh?
COMMANDER GILMORE: Austin, we won.
AUSTIN POWERS: Oh, groovy. Smashing. Yay, capitalism.

Blind Guardian has been described as ‘bombastic power metal’, and Keldian could be described as ‘space metal’, which is what Maiden’s new album may sound like.
Though they are both fantastic bands, and certainly take influence from Maiden.
