Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem~The Book of Daniel

The Conclusion of the Book of Daniel~Chapter 12

1. And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

2. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

4. But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

5. Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.

6. And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

7. And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and swore by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

8. And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

9. And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

10. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

11. And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

12. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

13. But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

Abba Father, Most Excellent Majesty!
Magnified and Sanctified is Your Most Holy and Wonderful Name!
How Glorious and How Marvelous are Your Works,
Of which only now we are starting to glimpse a only a tiny portion!
You are Eternal, Immortal, Everlasting,
And Unchanging, Yesterday, Today, and Forever.
There is no shadow of turning with You.
Even when we are unfaithful, You are Forever Faithful to Your Covenants!

Thank You for Preserving the Story of Daniel,
Both the exciting and deeply moving story of his life,
And the disturbing and confusing Apocalyptic Visions of his elderly years.
We thank you also for the gift to us, of a glimpse into Your Mind of Infinite Wisdom,
And Your Provision for those who love You.
Father, In particular we Thank You for The Kindness and Understanding you show to Daniel,
Giving him the Vision, but telling him to "Seal it up" until the Time is Right.
How often do we fuss and fret about things we can't control,
And forget that You are ALWAYS in Control,
On a Cosmic Level, and on a Deep Personal Level,
Just like with Daniel.

Father, We Thank You For The Remnant who Continue to Support Israel,
despite the political Climate.
Number us NOT with those who whisper lies to Your People.
Those who say "Peace and Safety" out loud,
but who inwardly plot against You and Your Beloved!
We ask You to Intervene in the Affairs of Nations,
And Change the Direction of Our Own.
We Plead With You, That Our Leaders will be Led by Your Spirit
with regards to Our Own Country's Policies Towards Jerusalem,
Or That You Will Remove Them.
We Also Pray that you will remove the spirit of idolatry
That has invaded the politics of our Nation.
We beg For You To Replace The leaders Who Seize Power
Only to feed Their own EGOS, and NOT to Serve the People or the Constitution.

9. And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

10. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Father, We Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise,
We pray for an END to Lies, Slander, Blood Libel,
Propaganda, and Antisemitism against Your Beloved.
We Pray For An End to Slavery, Hostage-Taking,
and Piracy wherever it is Practiced Around the World.
We Beseech You on Behalf of Our Captive Brethren,
Christians and Jews, In Bondage in Hostile lands,
Especially in Egypt, Somalia, Europe, Pakistan, Iraq and Iran,
and even in Our Own United States, where we see
Persecution on the rise.

We pray for the lost Children of Esau and Ishmael,
That they will throw down their weapons,
And embrace the One True God of Abraham,

For We Know, It is NOT Your Will that ANY Should perish,
As You have said in Your Word.

We Plead For Israeli Control Over All the Holy Sites in Israel,
So that People of All Faiths may visit them.
We Pray For Bibi Netayahu, and the Leaders of Israel
May They Receive Wisdom from You to do the Right Thing.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Daniel 12
The Worst Trouble the World Has Ever Seen
1-2”’That’s when Michael, the great angel-prince, champion of your people, will step in. It will be a time of trouble, the worst trouble the world has ever seen. But your people will be saved from the trouble, every last one found written in the Book. Many who have been long dead and buried will wake up, some to eternal life, others to eternal shame.
3 “’Men and women who have lived wisely and well will shine brilliantly, like the cloudless, star-strewn night skies. And those who put others on the right path to life will glow like stars forever.

4 “’This is a confidential report, Daniel, for your eyes and ears only. Keep it secret. Put the book under lock and key until the end. In the interim there is going to be a lot of frantic running around, trying to figure out what’s going on.’

5-6 “As I, Daniel, took all this in, two figures appeared, one standing on this bank of the river and one on the other bank. One of them asked a third man who was dressed in linen and who straddled the river, ‘How long is this astonishing story to go on?’

7 “The man dressed in linen, who straddled the river, raised both hands to the skies. I heard him solemnly swear by the Eternal One that it would be a time, two times, and half a time, that when the oppressor of the holy people was brought down the story would be complete.

8 “I heard all this plainly enough, but I didn’t understand it. So I asked, ‘Master, can you explain this to me?’

9-10 “’Go on about your business, Daniel,’ he said. ‘The message is confidential and under lock and key until the end, until things are about to be wrapped up. The populace will be washed clean and made like new. But the wicked will just keep on being wicked, without a clue about what is happening. Those who live wisely and well will understand what’s going on.’

11 “From the time that the daily worship is banished from the Temple and the obscene desecration is set up in its place, there will be 1,290 days.

12 “Blessed are those who patiently make it through the 1,335 days.

13 “And you? Go about your business without fretting or worrying. Relax. When it’s all over, you will be on your feet to receive your reward.”

There is much cloaked wisdom in Daniel. We do know the time is near indeed.

Gracious Heavenly Father, We raise our voices in HONOR, PRAISES, BLESSINGS, ADORATION, Humbly bowing down before You O LORD. How awesome are Your Words,, Your wonders, Your Mercies, Your Loving kindness, Your promises to Your people. Thank You LORD, that you first loved us. We are but clay. You are the Potter. We are written in Your Book, We are engraved upon Your hands, Your eyes are constantly on us, Your presence is ever with Your people. The blessings showered upon us daily are beautiful, delightful, and Glorious. May we ever see them so. When we are chastised, it is for our good. Wise and loving teaching from our Father. Desiring that none should be lost. Hold the people close Father, keep us under Your wings. help us to shine the light of life in the world. Bless Israel, Jerusalem, the persecuted believers where ever they are, the lost, Muslims, America and all that yearn for Your coming. In Jesus name, amen.
