Psalm 101
A Sovereigns Pledge of Integrity and Justice
Of David. A Psalm.
1I will sing of loyalty and of justice;
to you, O Lord, I will sing.
2I will study the way that is blameless.
When shall I attain it?
I will walk with integrity of heart
within my house;
3I will not set before my eyes
anything that is base.
I hate the work of those who fall away;
it shall not cling to me.
4Perverseness of heart shall be far from me;
I will know nothing of evil.
5One who secretly slanders a neighbour
I will destroy.
A haughty look and an arrogant heart
I will not tolerate.
6I will look with favour on the faithful in the land,
so that they may live with me;
whoever walks in the way that is blameless
shall minister to me.
7No one who practises deceit
shall remain in my house;
no one who utters lies
shall continue in my presence.
8Morning by morning I will destroy
all the wicked in the land,
cutting off all evildoers
from the city of the Lord.
I do Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem as it is related to the true Jesus that we all know and Him coming to set up His Kingdom, on this earth, ruling from this same Jerusalem that we see, in Israel, right now -- and being seated on the Throne of David, in Israel, as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
It's the same place -- not some other place. Jesus is coming back there (and not somewhere else...).
And a Psalm that I like in regards to that...
Psalms Chapter 2 1 Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, 3 "Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us." 4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. 5 Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure: 6 "Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion." 7 "I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me, 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. 8 Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. 9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter's vessel.' " 10 Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. 11 Serve the Lord with fear, And rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.
Prayers going up for the Peace of Jerusalem!

'I will Bring you Back Again, Says the Lord,
To this Same Land I Gave your Fathers.' (Jer.16:15)
“1.The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2.He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3.He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4.Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5.Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6.Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”

and
Psalm 25: 1-14
1.Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
2.O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
3.Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
4.Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
5.Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
6.Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
7.Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O LORD.
8.Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
9.The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
10.All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11.For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
12.What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
13.His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
14.The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant."

Praise God for the precious treasure of His Word. ‘We are without excuse ...” Our Shepherd is kind and loving and gentle, searching ‘til He finds His lost sheep and He carries the little ones. How He loves His sheep. Sheep are the dumbest of animals .. that describes man pretty closely. Our stupidity will run us all off the cliff, if we do not come to our Lord Jesus in humility and surrender. Open the hearts and minds of All Your sheep that they may hear Your voice and come to You, Lord Jesus Christ and stay under your protective care. Bring Peace to Israel and protect the land, people, government,leaders, and the lost of Israel and the the Holy City of Jerusalem, turn aside the pending dangers to us all, have mercy, Father, in Jesus name, amen.
Thank you, Lera, For your Prayers, and your Faithfulness to Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem!
Thank you, Quix, for your Prayers, and as always, your enthusiasm!
AND THANK YOU FOR YOURS . . . I THINK YOURS ARE ABOVE MINE!
Thank You for posting that wonderful Psalm, Darth Vader!
My heart aches over our present day “leaders” and their total lack of integrity, especially towards our friends and allies.
Your Psalm speaks to that issue beautifully.
But I am SURE that is why you posted it!
Thank You.
It spoke to my heart!
Thank You, as always, for your expository post about the Festivals!
A lot of Christian People don’t know about the Relationship of The Jewish Feasts to Christian Faith and Practice, and it is a real eye-opener, especially The Passover!
When I used to do Seder Demonstrations (complete with Food and Music) for my Evangelical Brothers and Sisters, The “Aha Moments” were frequent and dramatic!
ESPECIALLY the “Afikomen” part, where the broken piece of Matzo, wrapped in linen, which had been hidden for the duration of the meal, is brought out of hiding and shared among the celebrants with wine.
