Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. plans to perform Corpus Christi on April 8-10. The same blasphemous play, which portrays Our Lord and the Apostles as homosexuals, was canceled last week at Tarleton State University in Texas due to large peaceful protests.

"No. Blasphemy does not qualify as free speech," said TFP Student Action director John Ritchie. "Just as everyone is entitled to their own good reputation, Gallaudet University has not right to harm and slander the spotless reputation of the God-Man with blasphemy, then run to academic freedom for cover."

Gallaudet University was founded in 1864 by an Act of Congress, and President Abraham Lincoln signed its charter. Since then it has received generous federal tax dollars. In fact, the university now receives approximately 70% of its funding from the federal government according to its web site. Therefore, if the university does not cancel Corpus Christi, it will be using tax dollars to bash the faith of 68 million Catholics.

TFP Student Action is inviting its members to contact the president of Gallaudet University with a simple message: cancel the play.

Easiest thing in the world to do is attack the Catholic Church. In America it has become one of our favorite passtimes. When we 'normalized' homosexuality and bestowed special rights upon them it was like letting loose the demons from Hell. Big mistake, as was legalizing abortions and seperating all symbols of Christianity from government. Jesus said: "Apart from me you can do nothing". So here we are today, our government as far apart from Jesus as it can possibly get. Maybe that's why our country is falling apart.

No kidding. One of the strangest things I ever saw was walking into a bar on Pennsylvania Ave in DC on the night Gaulladet students hang out there. Packed bar, no music, no talking, no noise. Very weird. You get a taste of what it is like for them in the wider world. You’re a minority, and you can’t communicate with anyone else because you don’t know their language.

I know it's not "maybe", that was just rhetorical. Since the 1960's America has been drifting from Christianity, and hence drifting from unity, morality, exceptionalism and from God's grace. In the late 1940's President Harry Truman twice declared "We are a Christian nation". About ten Presidencies later president B. Hussein Obama declared to the World: " We are NOT a Christian nation".

The first real sign of apostacy from the Christian faith was Madalyn Murray O'Hare's successful lawsuit that removed prayer from public school. At about the same time President Kennedy had promised the American people he would never allow his faith to play a role in a Presidential decision. He would come to work a Catholic, then hang his faith on the coat rack and make his decisions an atheist. Also at that time was the infamous Second Vatican Council, a Council that imploded the Catholic Church, trashed it's traditionalism and opened her doors widely to Liberalism. The Church was truly the last bastion of conservatism, traditionalism and moral authority, but liberalsim and error infected even her. Then followed feminism, the legalization of abortion, the normalization of homosexual perversion, and drive-through divorces. All major elements of cultural moral decadence.

It seems that Nikita Kruschev was right when he removed his shoe and banged it on the podium at the U.N. and declared to America: "We (communism) will bury you". He meant that Marxism would prevail over democracy and capitalism. His Soviet Empire as a political entity has since collapsed, but Communism never fell with the Iron Curtain. All of its fundamental precepts remain firmly embedded in socialism and atheism the world over, and those Communist devices are flourishing. I sincerely believe that this current attack on America from within is more dangerous to our survival than was the attack on Pearl Harbor or the events of 9-11. When a nation redefines itself from within, that nation ceases to exist and a new one is born. Its turf, boundaries and name may remain, but its identity, idiology and purpose are vanquished. Then even its history is rewritten by the 'victors'.
