Thou shall not STEAL. At the point of a gun, they make you pay for their privilege of health care. Do I have to buy them a house and car?? This is theft!!!

It’s ‘elicit,’ not ‘illicit.’

"Awk, awk, awk, croak, croak. We must pass this monstrosity even though it means the beginning of the end of these pesky constituents. If we're lucky they'll commit suicide.!"

what i think might be at work here...is the law of the harvest.

too many americans are lazy. they dont thank god for this nation, they dont participate and when they do, very often they are not knowledgeable about the issues and the character of the people they elect. they are sheep. and as such, sheep get run over by the evil ones who control the government, industry, and the church.

in the old testament God rails constantly about the evil that those in power do and how they will be judged. he often calls them worthless shepherds and you can readily find a listing of their sins (e.g., judging unfairly, moving boundary markers, not caring for widows and orphans, burdening the people, stealing from them, stealing their land, and basically anytime they set up unfair systems).

the sheep (and the corrupt who stood to gain) elected Democrats. the problem is when that type of foolishness happens, alot of innocent folks get hurt. god vows to judge these corrupt leaders more harshly than those who dont lead. the cup is filling every day and then he will finally say enough is enough.

lastly, we let this happen to the seniors already 1997 so we shouldnt be suprised when they next decide to do it to all of us. we should have done something then!!

‘What would Jesus do about the current healthcare debate? ‘

Jesus would say:

“Blessed are those who Aid the the sick and dying in the name of compassion rather then helping as an excuse for lust of power or person gain”

The Lord does not tell governments what to do- he tells individuals.

My mother told us, "He who will not work shall not eat." She was paraphrasing the Apostle Paul (2 Thessalonians 3:10):
6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

7 For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

8 Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:

9 Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.

10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

11 For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

12 Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

Applying this principle to health care, we can say, "Disorderly busybodies who will not work shall not receive benefits from the taxpayers."
