When Glenn Beck told listeners of his radio show on March 2 that they should "run as fast as you can" from any church that preached "social or economic justice" because those were code words for Communism and Nazism, he probably thought he was tweaking a few crunchy religious liberals who didn't listen to the show anyway. Instead he managed to outrage Christians in most mainline Protestant denominations, African-American congregations, Hispanic churches, and Catholics...

The “party line” is apparently that it’s okay to denigrate certain religions. Antisemitism is rightfully not tolerated here, but for LDS apparently it’s open season.
I don’t like Glenn Beck and I like Mitt Romney even less. But my dislike has nothing to do with what church they attend.
But that’s okay. Say what you want to say since the forum rules allow it, even though your comments are intended to insult rather than inform. Not that I think my $25 or $50 will be missed, but I’m not about to pay to be offended.

It is interesting that you equate my relating experiences from being LDS and my posting of the LDS’ OWN writings as ‘antisemitism’. Not even close.
I don’t like Beck or Romney REGARDLESS of their faith, not because of it.
I was LDS for several years and I know how I was mislead about their teachings when i joined.
You withhold your money, yet you are still on here using FR. At least some of us help cover the costs for the bandwidth we use.

And I was denied baptism as a Catholic when I was a child because my mother was unmarried. But I don’t hate Catholics - in fact I’m married to one.
