Whys everbody always picking on me?

Better late than never!
Sometimes I’m in SUCH a hurry to see my thoughts in print! ;^)
My story is similar to yours.
For me it was a 36 years, and I was a Bishopric member. ...More than a lifetime in fact, I am a descendant of the Martin Harris family.
I went to the Stake library to prove a quote wrong I read here on FR during the Romney campaign. I was shocked to see it was accurate. I went to the Stake president and I saw the wolf come out from behind the sheep’s clothing.
Now I struggle with forgiveness. The lies they tell to this day still haunt me, affect my life, my job, my happiness. I can’t get too involved in these threads or the indignation in me just builds to unhealthy levels.
Mormonism almost killed me. Literally and repeatedly.
Christ sent the Inmans to rescue me.

I’m glad your feet are on the right path - it is a process,
as is the emotional part of forgiveness.
In the end, you can tell the truth, follow the truth, etc.,
but you cannot make others choose truthfulness. To carry
anger at their deception is normal, but forgiveness is a choice and will ultimately set you free from their choices -
though it may take years before the emotions subside.
And it’s all apparently human. God knows.

Oh my heck. I rememebr the year the Mormon crickets were everywhere, exactly like that picture. It completely grossed me out to have to drive over them.
I am so glad you are out. And I promise you that as you grow in your relationship with Christ, some of that will dissipate.
But many of us are still righteously angry at those who lie and drag others into Mormonsim, and that is because we have seen both sides and now know how strong the bondage of Mormonism is and how freeing faith in Christ is.
To see others so blinded and deluded is angering. It is. But stories like yours and SZ help us to remember that it is all worth it. To see others break free of that bondage and come to Christ is ALWAYS worth everything we do and the name calling we put up with and the tears we shed for the LDS.
