The covenant to be ‘done’ included far more than the ten, such as the ‘statutes and ordinances’ in verse 14.

The English phrase "Ten Commandments" in Deut 4:13 is not found in the original Hebrew text. In Hebrew it says, "aseret ha-devarim" [Ten Words]. Guess we have been commanded to perform words - but because you don't understand the Hebrew (Biblical) mindset, in Hebrew WORDS never are without ACTION.
