The individuals listed below are Christians (past and present) who are compassionate about their faith. Some are recognized pastors, scholars and teachers of Bible prophecy and eschatology (study of end-times) who also belong to various denominations. Also listed here are those from pseudo-Christian organizations (so-called Christian groups that adhere to doctrines outside mainstream Christianity). This comprehensive list of individuals is meant to help you identify sound teaching on Bible prophecy and prophecy topics only. Some have devoted their entire lives to teaching Bible prophecy. Not all are always in agreement, and not all are sound in their doctrines. Therefore, study for yourselves, and use this as a guide only.
Though there are many good prophecy teachers, some should be avoided. With that in mind, remember that we are commanded to pray for those whom we take issue with. Please don't confuse this list with those who claim to be prophets or those with prophetic revelations, dreams, visions or other so-called inspired prophecies.
The below "apple" rating is solely for the teaching of Bible prophecy and prophecy topics, not for individual ministries or personal lives of those listed. You might find some listed here who teach sound Bible prophecy, yet to support other doctrines you disagree with. Their teaching on other important Bible doctrines should not necessarily be confused with the comments here. "Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding." Proverbs 4:7.

Any such list that has Hal Lindsey as a “good apple” deserves to be laughed out of the room. Hal Lindsey is a fool and a charlatan.
Thank You, God.
The list is 100% accurate.
LOL!
I agree with your assessment of Lindsey.
However, it should be remembered that Lindsey was personally a student of John Walvoord, the second president of the Dallas Theological Seminary who was the acknowledged dean of Dispensationalist theology until his death in 2002.
Lindsey is a popularizer, like the even more successful Tim LaHaye, but he is a mainstream proponent of DTS theology.
Lindsey is not on the Dispensationalist fringe, but is at the center of the movement.
This whole prophecy charade is an embarrasment to Christianity. Stop it already!
The list is laughable.
Hang on let me delete 25% of the Bible...oh brother.
The list is wonderfully true. :-)
A true list of what? Party line pop dispensationalists, is what it looks like.
I’ve heard of some of these of course. When I was young, I did thoroughly enjoy Herbert W. Armstrong’s show. He was very plain spoken and easy to follow. However he is rated, I know that he was a devoted Christian. I didn’t see Joel Osteen on the list and that’s a good thing.
Is this a list of modern day prophets or just people you agree with?
That's a very serious - and true - indictment of the Dispensationalist crowd as a whole. The man has proven himself to be a false prophet, yet people still take him seriously; I find that unbelievable.
At this point in time there is no such thing as a modern day prophet. The Bible says that there will be two prophets on the scene in the last days but as far as I know they’re not here yet. This is a list of who is preaching sound doctrine, who isn’t and who’s in between.
Wow, aren't you confident. Of course Hal Lindsey has been just as confident every time he's told us when Jesus was coming back, right up until he was proven wrong. Then he just ignored it and made his next confident prediction.
I guess that's the kind of confidence it takes to get a "good apple" rating on your website.
No, it's a list of people you agree with (no matter how dishonest they may be) with "green apples" next to them and a list of others (no matter how well-reasoned their positions) with whom you have disagreements.
His guesses have been off but then again so have yours on one issue or the other from time to time. As far as the Scriptures are concerned he teaches sound doctrine and likewise preaches salvation through Christ and Christ alone. :-)
