I remember Maddy.
I missed the first 4 seasons of the show, assuming it was a total waste of time.
Then I caught the last show of the season that Carrie Underwood won and I had to admit she was very good.
I’ve watched ever since.
Some years are better than others, but it’s always entertaining and a break from serious matters.
This year’s debut of Larry Platt and his “Pants on the Ground” song was priceless. Too bad he’s way over the age limit.
Say it loud “I watch Idol and I’m proud”.
LOL

I wish Maddie all the best. I hope she does well. My problem is I think American Idol is just another example of the dumbing down of America. I believe this stupid show belongs on MTV.

Not an ‘Idol’ viewer but Maddy’s talent is worth checking out. May God bless her and her family in their witness to Him.

Her performance made me cry. So beautiful. Christ's light pours out through her.

If Maddy's still on Idol in the waning rounds, Gloria Allred (and her pro-aborts pals!) will be all over this, writing to American Idol, saying Maddy and her family have a pro-life "agenda," with all those Down kids being loved in her clan, and it just isn't right to allow Maddy on the show, because it's a threat for women's "rights," everywhere [who want to kill off their Down syndrome babies].
"And what next, a Super Bowl ad for these folks?" she'll screech.
But Maddy sings beautifully, and Simon has always slobbered over outward beauty as well (which is annoying, but she is indeed pretty), so I hope she gets lots of votes and continues on with her message. That show needs a bit of a cleaning up anyway; the female judges themselves (in that clip) look like streetwalkers/mannequins (eeee gads, what a lot of makeup on their faces). So go get 'em Maddy. Keep singin' your heart out loud and clear ...

Maddy Curtis
The 2007 Idol winner, Jordin Sparks, is also pro-life.
