You are correct, God does STILL have a plan for the NATION of Israel.

According to Romans chapters 9, 10, and 11 the Apostle Paul says that God is NOT through with the nation of Israel and contrary to the foolishness posed on this thread, the Church of Jesus Christ is NOT ISRAEL, nor will it ever BE Israel. Romans 9 - 11 makes this perfectly clear. God's word also proclaims that there is a time, yet future when "All Israel will be saved". The remnant will one day turn in National and individual faith to the Lord Jesus Christ and will accept Him and Him alone as their Messiah.

Romans chapter 9 = God's PAST dealings with the nation of Israel.

Romans chapter 10 = God's PRESENT dealings with the nation of Isarel.

Romans chapter 11 = God's FUTURE dealings with the nation of Israel.

Paul makes it perfectly clear that the promises God has made TO ISRAEL He will one day keep and fulfill to the nation of Israel, not the church!

Covenent "replacement theology" which holds and teaches that "the Church is Israel", is patently false.

I agree.

Trying to understand the Tribulation makes a lot more sense when you look at it with the understanding that God is doing this to bring Israel home to Him. It's after He's done with the Gentiles.

Paul makes it perfectly clear that the promises God has made TO ISRAEL He will one day keep and fulfill to the nation of Israel, not the church!

I think the Reformed have a great deal correct. However, they often don't recognize how much of the RCC they brought with them when they left. Amillenial beliefs are one example. It is a belief that emerged as the RCC became a dominant force in the Roman Empire and comfortably fits with the RCC exercising force to push it's views since "it is ruling for Christ on earth".

So, you are saying God will save some apart from grace through faith?

This flies in the face of Galatians 2:16 "By the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."

Let's try a little logic:

(1) "If thou shalt confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9).

(2) "And so all Israel shall be saved." (Romans 11:26a).

Then, all Israel shall confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in their hearts that God has raised him from the dead.

So which Israel is that? Paul says in 11:6 "Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace." He also says in 9:6b "..For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel."

The nation of Israel is not Israel.

So, is the land special or does having certain blood make one special? Just curious. God must respect one or the other for an ethnic and/ or political entity to have special significance. Or respect both.
