A glorious throne, exalted from the beginning, is the place of our sanctuary. O LORD, the hope of Israel, all who forsake you will be put to shame. Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust because they have forsaken the LORD, the spring of living water. (Jeremiah 17:12-13)

Dear Lord, we come to You in obedience to Your command, and ask that You would be with us as we pray.

Father, we pray for our troops. Encourage them, Lord, as they fight the good fight, and give them strength and courage for every battle. May Your wisdom put them on a perfect path.

Father, we thank You for Scott Brown's victory in this past election. We know that many of Your people prayed to You for this, and we are doubly thankful. Lord, we ask that You would guide his paths and give him what courage and wisdom he needs, that he would serve his country and You. Bless his time in office, and save him from the temptations that will come in it.

Lord, we thank You that Rifqa will not be forced to return to her parents, as many feared she would be. We pray that You would continue to protect and bless her, and give her much happiness in the years to come.

Lord, Your throne is glorious, exalted from the beginning, and it is a place of sanctuary to us. You are the spring of living water; You bid the thirsty come and give them water without cost. Those who forsake You will be put to shame, those who turn away will be written in the dust, for You alone are the light and life of men. To You we lift up our praise, in the matchless Name of Jesus, Amen.
