Same place he always is.
He is welcoming them home.

I am.
G.K. Chesterton
It is one of the ways He gets the attention of a planet that tends to ignore Him.
“In this world you will have tribulation. But be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.” - Jesus
How profound. I wish I’d said that.
Is it true the Haitian people celebrate voodoo and other practices of worship detrimental to God? If so, then there’s your answer.
Exactly. This kind of question always pre-supposes that this life is the best we can hope for.
They’ll be helped and it will America that does it. Hey, Al Gore, is this part of ‘’climate change?’’
We can question God and His will. But he owes us no answers. He left His Word for us. Sounds to me as if
some people need to consult it. Should they choose not to consult the Scriptures, that is not God’s fault.
You have two choices, you can choose freedom and free will and all that entails or you can choose to be a puppet and a slave. And you can thank the Good Lord for that choice.
Your post just gave me goose bumbs and the warmest safest feeling i have had in a long time what a statement
“Is it true the Haitian people celebrate voodoo and other practices of worship detrimental to God? If so, then theres your answer.”
And yet consider. . .
“Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.” Luke 13:4-5
Book of Revelations,Global Warming and Aztec Calendar collide.... leave God out of this
Doesn’t anyone ever read about theology anymore?
God helps those who help themselves
We have “free will”
blah blah blah
> Where is God? Where is the good God?
He was told to get lost.
The school systems teach that everything came from nothing out of nowhere for no reason; that life is just a curious side effect of an unknowing, uncaring cosmos; that when you die, you are just so much compost; that the best you can hope for is a life of self-gratification and a painless extinction.
His Son, whom God sent to pay for your sins, is ridiculed and scorned, and His name is used as cheap puncutation or to get laughs, usually intermingled with the basest, coarsest language.
And we are ALL GONNA DIE one way or another, because we live in a sin-cursed world that is deteriorating and groaning daily.
Consider these passages from Romans chapter 1 as a partial explanation.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Your *ONLY* hope is *AFTER* this life, because YOU ... WILL ... DIE one way or another.
If you don’t repent, and ask God to SAVE YOU, and call upon HIS NAME and HIS SON’S NAME, your destiny will be even worse than whatever effects your passage from this life to the next.
First - God doesn’t “allow” things to happen. Sin has “allowed” things to happen. God is where he’s always been - right there next to you. He never leaves us - We leave Him...turn around and He’ll be right where you left Him.
