Don’t forget that until the 1990 changes in the endowment ceremony a Protestant minister was portrayed as a hireling of Satan.

Has there been ANY report about what GOD told the Living Prophet and his 12 Confirmers about why HE decided to change the TEMPLE Ritual?

Thousands of FReepers and I’m betting 99.999 percent are put off by such a misuse of space on this site.

So are you:

a. Omniscient? b. Prone to hyperbole? c. Mormon? d. PC police? e. Some combo of above?

BTW, I suspect one pic on your FR homepage takes up more bandwith that 20 robust Mormon threads.

All of the Catholic Creeds which the Protestants use to define thier Godhead (instead of using the bible) are an abomination to God. You reject other Catholic teachings ... why hold onto the Nicean, Apostolic and Athenasian Creeds? Why not follow the Bible?

Ummm, they are based on the Bible?

You're probably right but I DO contribute financially to host my pictures on my homepage.

My homepage is viewable if you click on it and I would never think of copying and pasting it to the threads.

Do you contribute financially or just hang out?

The issue was wasting bandwidth, not supporting FR.

Asking if I support FR sounds like a works based question, much like Mormon focus on for their salvation.

So are you Mormon? (And remember, I asked first)

Don’t expect me to continue with you in the am.

(Why would I expect a dialogue from someone who up until this thread has offered none?)

Again, reading into things that are simply NOT THERE. Offending for a word, or worse yet, you’re interpretation of the word.

"Offending for a word" is just a phrase coined by a Mormon apologist who wrote an article by that title. And if you think that it's only a "word offense" for real babies to undergo a real suction aspirator because the Mormon church sanctioned that Johnny or Jane didn't have a right to live due to...
...their dad was an incest perpetrator...
...their dad was a rapist...
...mom's health was somehow lacking (in distinction to her life really being at risk)...
...the disability of the child...
...or because they prayed about it & the Mormon god said it was "OK" (the biggest Mormon loophole of all)...
...then all I can tell you is that you haven't seen an aborted baby up close & personal like I have...
...or you haven't seen your own miscarried 8-week-old son (by gestation weeks -- NOT birth weeks) like I have!

"Offense for a word?" How about offense for dismemberment??? How about being provoked by dismemberment like in the book of Judges where a man whose concubine was gang-raped unto death, then cut up her body & sent body portions to all the tribes of Israel to provoke them to deal with the real crime at hand? (see bottom of this post for the actual verses in Judges 19 & 20).

How about responding to the the supposed "offense" committed by a pre-born child (as perceived by Mormon leaders) just 'cause the child is disabled or had the wrong daddy? The only offensive "word" are the ones killing this next generation of Mormons -- the ones given by his or her parents to the abortionist and the "offensive word" given by Lds "counsel" that SOME pre-borns are fit for the chopping block!!!

Mormons have among the lowest abortion rates in the country, if not the lowest, even lower than Catholics,...

Utah indeed has one of the lowest abortion rates in the U.S. -- (in the five lowest). But last time I looked, it wasn't the lowest. (I believe Kentucky, Mississippi & West Virginia had lower rates). So when you think more pre-borns can't be saved among Mormon families in Utah, Arizona, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, Colorado, etc. you be sure to let me know. Because EVERY argument I've made, if only applied to even just ONE Mormon pre-born, is worth it.

...and yet you get on your high horse...

It seems to me that Jesus our Shepherd said we should leave the 99 in search of the one. It seems to me that Jesus our Shepherd said shepherds should get on their high donkeys & head out in pursuit of the one.

And as soon as you get false shepherds -- the hirelings -- who are satisfied with only quoting "Well, we're in the best five of least dismemberments among people of the pews of our religious structure" -- then you get those who are satisfied with treating abortion as an abstract depersonalized "issue" instead of as a real person created by a real Creator!

29 When he reached home, he took a knife and cut up his concubine, limb by limb, into twelve parts and sent them into all the areas of Israel. 30 Everyone who saw it said, "Such a thing has never been seen or done, not since the day the Israelites came up out of Egypt. Think about it! Consider it! Tell us what to do!" ... They raped my concubine, and she died. 6 I took my concubine, cut her into pieces and sent one piece to each region of Israel's inheritance, because they committed this lewd and disgraceful act in Israel. 7 Now, all you Israelites, speak up and give your verdict." 8 All the people rose as one man, saying, "None of us will go home. No, not one of us will return to his house. 9 But now this is what we'll do to Gibeah: We'll go up against it as the lot directs. 10 We'll take ten men out of every hundred from all the tribes of Israel, and a hundred from a thousand, and a thousand from ten thousand, to get provisions for the army. Then, when the army arrives at Gibeah in Benjamin, it can give them what they deserve for all this vileness done in Israel." 11 So all the men of Israel got together and united as one man against the city. 12 The tribes of Israel sent men throughout the tribe of Benjamin, saying, "What about this awful crime that was committed among you? 13 Now surrender those wicked men of Gibeah so that we may put them to death and purge the evil from Israel." (Judges 19:29-30; 20:5-13)

(If this one done provoked by one gang-raped concubine, then how do you think God feels about thousands of aborted Mormon babies??? Thousands that over time converts into hundreds of thousands??? Have you no provocation? Or do you rest on your laurels that the Mormon abortion rate equals the Christian, pagan & nominal Christian rates in 3 or 4 other states...when here you think Mormonism is the "Zion on the mountain" and should be setting the example for the rest of the nation???)

Because it is not doctrine but their own opinions?

I no longer believe salvation comes by works (I used to believe it when I was Mormon). Ephesians 2:8-9.

And South Park got it exactly right.

Hm. Usually “zealots” are those who have more faith than the speaker. You may be saying more about yourself, and how much religion bothers you, than you do about anyone else. I will pray for you (even if you’d rather I didn’t) to the Lord who loves you whether or not you believe in Him.

I saw that too. Someone needs a course in remedial Church History if they don’t think that the creeds are biblical.
