Catholic Word of the Day Ping!
Please send me a FReepmail if you would like to be on the Catholic Word of the Day Ping List.
As an aside, Marvel Comics all too frequently uses “tabula rasa” as a plot device. Some superhero or villain gets their memory wiped, as part of a “retcon” (retroactive continuity), where they explain away some other plot device.
You know those comics where he suddenly knew everyone’s secret identity, and was going to tell all to the media? Not gonna happen. The aliens got him and wiped his mind. Doesn’t remember anything about it.
He is a “tabula rasa”.
