<every time he raved about Allen Brothers and adult beverages and his love of fine cigars and his dislike of walking/exercising.. I feared for a day like this.
Same here. None of us is going to get out of this alive, but there are things we can do to help ourselves along the way. He always seemed to talk about health matters with such disdain; I never understood his animosity toward just some of the basic things people do for their health.

Father God, I thank You that Your Word says our days are numbered by You. You Lord, know what day Rush will join You, and I know he will not leave us one day before You call him. In the meantime, have mercy on *us* Lord, and please heal him, that he may continue to be a warrior against the evil that seeks to make this country of no account for You. Help us, and heal him please Father, by the blood of Jesus, and in His holy name.

OOPS, I meant to ask Sun where they heard that Rush was stable. I realize I didn’t make my thoughts very clear in my last post.
I feel the same way, Hildy. It is just so upsetting to think about Rush being ill. I am really tired and need to get some rest but just want to know that he is OK before I go to bed. So worried and pray we hear very good news soon.

The Lord answers all prayers; sometimes we don’t like the anwer; sometimes we’re impatient for it. Praise the Lord for this tenative reply.
Praying for Rush’s complete recovery and also that God grant him the grace and perseverance to make any necessary lifestyle changes for his continued health and safety.
