May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands, for the praise and glory of his name, for our good, and the good of all his Church...
...except that the English translators left out a very important word from the Latin original ...totiusque ecclesiae suae sanctae...and all of His Holy Church...do you think they just overlooked it in the years of study, and committee upon committe review of it, or did they do it on purpose...the thought that the Church might be holy maybe appalled them, do you think...let us strive to apply the highest reverence in our liturgy, rather than common denominator utility...
