I must be at church shortly to help in taking telephone requests for free delivery of meals for Christmas Day — so I do not have time to research if this is changing with the new translations.

...except that the English translators left out a very important word from the Latin original ...totiusque ecclesiae suae sanctae...and all of His Holy Church...do you think they just overlooked it in the years of study, and committee upon committe review of it, or did they do it on purpose...the thought that the Church might be holy maybe appalled them, do you think...let us strive to apply the highest reverence in our liturgy, rather than common denominator utility...
