"Wednesday, December 09, 2009 4:06:25 PM · 2 of 3 bunches to alpha-8-25-02 I respectfully request prayers from my Freeper friends.
I have breast cancer and am undergoing a mastectomy tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. (Arizona time).
I believe it is Stage II but it is also in the aggressive category.
I read FreeRepublic daily and think the world of all the folks I have met here. If you could think of me tomorrow morning and say a prayer, I would be most grateful.
Bunches."
Please hold our dear bunches up in prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ. May he guide the care givers hands and heal her body.

Lord, we lift up bunches to you. We love you and praise your name. We acknowledge that you are in control of all things and have your eye on bunches. Please restore her to health and to her loved ones, we pray. We give you the glory and accept the outcome whatever it is. In Jesus’ name we pray all these things. Amen.
I pray for a successful surgery and a quick recovery.

Dear Lord, this should be a time of joy for all of us, Your children. There is only worry and heartache for some, including Bunches.
We know she aches with the burden of cancer, and the surgery to hopefully remove all of it from her body. Let her know that You are there with her throughout, and that our hearts are there, also.
Bring her through, Lord. Make her well and complete again. Help her through this trying time and make her better than before, Father.
She may not understand why this happened. Eventually, she will understand. In Your Heavenly Name we pray, Lord.

We confidently cast this burden of cancer upon our Savior, Jesus, who already bore this in His own body on the Cross of Calvary. And we know without a shadow of a doubt that it is His desire to see Bunches prosper and be in health just as her soul prospers. Grant Your ministering spirits to watch over her as she recovers from this surgery and may the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead recharge and renew her body. Holy Lord, in this season of miracles, we acknowledge that nothing is too difficult for You. May Your purposes prevail in Bunches life, and may she one day look upon this time as a season of closeness to You. May Your Name alone be glorified, through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Thank you so much. I am OK. I think I have prayer chains all over the place, Ohio,Arizona, Kansas and Florida through various family and friends!
Satan’s arrows attacked me the day before the surgery with horrible fear and I could not sleep. Surgery day I was stronger. The operation went well but the lymph nodes were also involved and so the doctor is still only cautiously optomistic.
Chemo starts January 7th and goes on for months, I guess.
If you wish to reach me by personal email, please let me know. I am ok right now but once chemo starts I may be a little unable to write much. God bless your for your support.

Last December 08’ – February 09’ all of you Blessed Freeper Saints prayed for me and Mrs. Alpha, I was indicated as terminal upon arrival on 12/01/08 at VAMC Syracuse N.Y. and through the Love of His Elect I was sent back to Mrs. Alpha’s care on 2/11/09.
Monday 12/14 the incredibly dedicated care teams at the Veterans Medical Center gave me a completely healthy diagnosis after ten months of recovery care. All Praise and Glory to our Lord is boldly proclaimed. Please know we love all of God’s children here at FreeRepublic and thankyou for tirelessly placing your supplications for my bride and me at the Throne’s feet.
Many special thanks are offered to all the saints that are so close to us, though I would be recording their names for days and I would most likely get banned for using too much band-width.

Note for freepers having surgery: don't worry about sleeping the night before. You don't have to do anything the day of surgery aside from filling out paperwork. I have had 7 eye surgeries over the past 6 or so years, and I finally learned to just occupy my time the night before until I was too sleepy to stay up. I'd usually watch an old movie or two. It does not matter if you get a good night's sleep when all you are going to do the next day is sleep.
Saying a prayer for you. It works miracles all the time. I’ve seen so many in my life that I could write a book. God Bless you.
