It was a joy this morning at Mass to sing the old hymns of Mary. “Hail, Holy Queen” is one of my favorites.
Actually, our contemporary music director surprised me tonight by choosing very traditional hymns too.
Until he got the recessional. Then I didn’t sing! (City of God) It is so overused that I so dislike it.
