squir-me-neu-tics (skwûrm'mə-nōō'tĭks)
n. (used with a sing. or pl. verb)
1. the science of misinterpretation, esp. of the Scriptures, to such a degree that it causes listeners with any common sense to squirm.
2. misinterpretation of the Scriptures so absurd that it causes one to question whether or not it could possibly be for real.
Well, it's once again time for our old friend "pastor" Steven Anderson. In case you forgot, some time ago Steven bought us a comprehensive theology of masculine bathroom etiquette. Now Steven blesses us with this tidbit of theological wizardry on why Jesus wore pants and not a robe.
Now, before you watch this, be forewarned. You're IQ is about to drop. While there is a lot out there in the world of theology that irks me, I'm coming to the conclusion that there is really something clinical going on here. This is beyond your annoying fundamentalist rant. This is mental disability. Think I'm being to harsh? Just watch.

argh!
“Am I my brother’s keeper?” is my all time favorite.
Numerous “Christians” have answered that question “Yes, I am my brother’s keeper. And the first thing I’m going to do is impose a “brother’s keeper” culture and government on everyone else.
Of course, the original question was asked by a lyining genocidal murderer who wiped out 25% of the world’s population. The murder intentionally asked the question inorder to create a false premise on which he could rationalize his own behavior to himself.
Those who preach that you are your borther’s keeper base their theology on that false premise of the lying murderer.
well...he dresses well.
I wonder if he made up that entire sermon just to draw attention to his nice new threads?
With all the things that are important in the Bible I’m always surprised when people focus on stuff like head covering, whether Jesus made wine or grape juice, etc. In Corinthians Paul specifically goes after asceticism yet again and again a peculiar branch of evangelical seems to get caught up in non essential “extras”.
This guy has a bunch of videos up including some involving defying border checkpoints. He is an interesting guy but he from the pulpit he can’t see the forest for the trees.
That’s an unexpected reaction, and a twisting of my words... Sigh... Reminder to self... “Never ever post on bible thread”.
Maybe topcat was being ironic, Darius - acknowledging the fact that God didn't exactly set pen to paper.
Or not.
I don’t know... But I have re-learned my lesson!
I realized I misunderstood your post. I asked the RM to remove my message. I apologize.
