Among agenda items including the long-in-the-making marriage pastoral, a text on "reproductive technologies" and the final votes on the re-translated Roman Missal (coming 2011-ish to a parish near you), the body will vote on chairs-elect for several key committees, including those overseeing clergy and vocations, migration, and divine worship.
Thanks be to God that the liturgy committee is not up for Trautperson to be the chair.
BTW, weren't we supposed to get the new translations in the fall of 2010 Wondering what has happened??

Trautperson - I ALWAYS use the absurd neutered version of all possible words when speaking to illustrate the silliness of it.
I suppose I am now an old fogey who is behind the times. I actually learned that masculine references were neutral depending on the context. Of course, this could be seen as denigrating to men since the masculine words have non-specific meanings, whereas women are so special that the feminine words all have uniquely feminine meanings.
In fact, giving masculine words a neutered meaning actually goes more in line with political correctness. But hey, it was important for the feminazis to squeal really loudly and upset the apple cart in order draw attention to oneself.

I have it on good authority they’re still aiming for the first Sunday of Advent, 2010. They might not make it, but it’s still the goal.
