Yeah, like old time catholics who burned people to death or killed thousands in crusades. We’re rough alright.

Nope. Never heard that once. We call ourselves sinners saved by Grace.

God is not the creator of the Reformation. Man was.

Because He’s God and He calls the shots.

Agreed. Don’t they know only Jesus can answer their prayers?

I agree. Our respect, not our veneration or worship.

How do you know? Are you God? He has blessed the reformation by giving us choices.

There is only one truth, MS. Your endorsement of these “choices” is an endorsement of the all the differing theologies which cannot be reconciled with the reality that there is only one truth.

Yes, there IS one truth and that’s found in the Body of believers called the Body of Christ, not in one denomination.

"What do people like John Paul II, Mother Teresa, Padre Pio and the throng of saints, mystics, and popes, precisely mean when they say that Mary is the Co-redemptrix? First of all, let’s be clear as to what do they not mean: 1.) They do not mean that Mary is equal to Jesus. 2.) They do not mean that Mary has an equal share in the redemption of the human family. This would indeed be heresy.

What they do mean when they refer to the Mother of Christ as the Co-redemptrix is that Mary uniquely cooperated with Jesus and entirely subordinate to and dependent upon Jesus, in the historic work of human Redemption." I read all of this as really saying that the work of Jesus Christ, with regard to human redemption, was somehow not enough. It says to me that, in order for human beings to be redeemed, Jesus' death and resurrection, and His victory over both death and sin, was insufficient.

Now, you might ask yourself, "is this Ellie Crystal a spokeswoman for the Catholic Church?"

She might as well be.

Until the Vatican says that Mary is a Co-Redeemer, anyone who writes about it may be a decenter, but it doesn’t make it from the Vatican.

But it wasn't until 1950 that the Vatican determined as dogma that Mary ascended into heaven bodily.

Since you believe that to be true now, it must have been (according to you) true even before 1950.

Therefore, since so many Roman Catholics and popes believe Mary is a co-redeemer, it follows that there's a very good chance the Vatican will declare that to be true.

Your church really should be more careful on what it teaches. No small error, this elevation of Mary at the expense of the Triune God.

your habit of unsolicited attempts to tell Catholics what they "believe".

I don't tell anyone what they believe. I offer my opinion of what they believe.

Too bad Rome frowns on individual consciences speaking from Scripture.

Catholics know and believe that Christ is our Lord and Savior. The word ‘co’ in Latin means with — We would not have Christ without the Blessed Virgin Mary. That’s all it means.

Exactly what is the theology that you believe the Catholic Church has developed?

Theo = God.

Hmmmm.

Not enough cogent information in your post to even attempt a reply.

I think there is strong evidence she didn't really know who Jesus was until the Resurrection.

Did you forget the part where the angel tells her she will bear the Son of God?
