There is a storm brewing and this storm shall not stop or deviate from its path and the name of this storm is " Righteousness " " for my name's sake " !
My name is on my priests as a placard upon their foreheads and I shall not be defamed !

Behold the glory of the latter house shall be great !

Does anyone believe that if God sent a prophet, he would be living in the wilderness, dressed in skins and eating locusts? One can almost hear the Pharisees..
Again, it is not my purpose to defend the current recipient of your ridicule, but the generic condition of the Gifts of the Spirit in the Church at large...

Good try, but John the Baptist's message was CLEAR, not garbled gibberish. Also, John the Baptist DID NOT refuse to answer questions about who and what he was.
Is that supposed to be . . . like . . .

And yet, crowds came to the wilderness to see John.
I wonder - did he sell his prophecies to buy locusts?
And from the quotes I can find, it seems John the Baptist used sentences. Whole ones. They even had meaning!

I can’t imagine John saying “I have an important message. I baptize you with water, but He who is to come...put a shekel in the cup and I’ll whisper the rest in your ear.”
