Father in Heaven, we gather together in Your Name to seek Your will and Your glory. Hear the prayers we offer to You.

Lord, we thank You for every man and woman who serves in the military. We seek Your favor for them, protection and victory over their enemies. Please, Father, send Your Word among them, that they may know Your peace.

Father, it is now eight years since the attacks in New York and Washington destroyed our complacency. All these years we at home have been safe from the hatred of the terrorists, and we give You the glory. We thank You for this great, unmerited kindness, and for every instrument You have used in our defense. We remember especially how President Bush steadied the nation and led us through those dark days, and we thank You for the courage and wisdom he showed.

Father, we pray for Your missionaries throughout the world. May Your hand protect them, and Your Spirit lead them as they proclaim Your Gospel.

Lord, You are our God; we know no other. You are the Lord of eternity, the God of every age. You have given us a perfect salvation, an awesome deliverance. Trusting in You, we know that we will come home at last, free from sorrow and sin. With praise, with gratitude, we receive Your boundless grace, in the blessed Name of our Lord, Amen.

Dear God, who suffered
torment, agony and death upon the Cross
to free our souls from the chains of iniquity;
protect and defend our troops. Guide them in the
performance of their duties. Strengthen them to
endure hardship, danger and deprivation in Your
service. Let their efforts free the people of Iraq
and Afghanistan from the chains of terror and
slavery, foster a lasting peace in the region, and
bring all to a greater share in Your Mercy.

Precious LORD, I humbly ask that the voices that were heard in Washington D.C will haunt the members of our government to whom they were directed. Please Almighty God, You are capable of all Good things. I ask that in these last days that your would pour out Your Holy Spirit upon the members of the Congress, the Senate, the Vice President,and the President to convict them of their sins, their need of a right relationship with You,show them the emptiness of their hearts and bring truly Godly people into their lives that will share the Gospel with them through their lives with boldness and truth.May they open their hearts to Jesus , repenting of the old man putting on the new man, walking in the newness of Life forever more! Praise the Father and praise the Son , Praise the Holy Ghost, All Three in one! In Jesus Name, I pray, amen.
