Psalm 91:1

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. (amp)

Father God, King of all, Ruler of All, Almighty, All Powerful, Majestic Glory, we bow before You today. We hide ourselves in Your secret place and give You praise. Many acts of evil have occurred since Adam and Eve fell, but Your goodness has always remained and will prevail in the end. Our generation will not forget the evil that befell this Country You gave us eight years ago. We marvel at all the good You did that day and in the ensuing years for us. However, we also mourn where our people have chosen to take us such a few, brief years later. Having faith in Your goodness, Your redeemed stand in the gap before You and pray for mercy.

Despite the choices some of our people have made, Your light still shines! Thank You, Sir, for the protection You have given us with political and military heroes. Thank You for prayer warriors and those standing boldly in pulpits, on the air waves and behind their computers laboring for preservation, protection from evil and the liberty Your Spirit brings to a nation. We honor You for each light and pray for the success of each laborer. Encourage and protect each one. Preserve their freedom to speak and act, their families, their health, and their homes. Draw them closer to You, grabbing each step they take in your direction to grant wisdom and understanding of Your ways of doing and being right. If they step away from You, send them the Word that will bring them back to healing and forgiveness.

We know there is no power which can withstand You. We are grateful to be called Your children and to have a home in Heaven where nothing can destroy. We act in faith with these prayers and believe we receive in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the men and women who sacrifice so much for our country. Give them Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding and discernment. Alert them to plots or dangers they may face. Fill there heart and minds with your joy and peace. Watch over families, meeting all their needs. They have chosen to follow the example of You Jesus, to possibly give up their lives for another. Bring peace to Afghanistan, Iraq, Israel and anywhere else our troops are in the world. Win this war for us, for without You we have no hope. Bring them all home safely and quickly. Heals any pain they have suffered and may they be blessed all there days on earth.

Lord, watch over those that fight for Freedom within this “one Nation, under God” and in nations that want to destroy us.

Help us to rid this nation of greed, racism, hatred and dishonesty.

Give us a new breath of freedom and independence for each American. Lift the burdens of daily taxation, excessive governmental oversight, and spending that dictate our daily lives.

We, the individuals, as family neighborhoods should care for our own, each and every one.

Let our churches truly be God fearing and their leaders be upstanding representatives of Your compassion and love for all.

You are our Father, Lord. We are Your children. May You rule this family with an iron hand. Correct or eliminate those that would betray us for their own favor.
