In the boldness You have given us as Your beloved children, we agree together for the safety of each member of the military You have provided us. Father, they have offered up their lives to preserve freedom for Your righteousness to be preached and for our children to enjoy the liberty for which many of our forefathers have shed blood. Grant them Your victory. Preserve their lives under the shelter of Your wings. May there be more unseen protectors for them than their natural eyes can see—more than be against them. Father, our trust is in You. You are able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all we could ask or think. Show Yourself strong on their behalf.

Along with the Presidential Prayer Team, we pray today for U.S. Representative Robert Aderholt (R, Alabama). Thank You, Sir, for the stands he has taken in favor of Your righteous causes. We pray that You would give him greater strength, courage, wisdom and skill to see and then support those issues that will return us to One Nation under God, with liberty and justice for all.

Dear LORD, I ask that You protect all our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq as they fight under the difficult New Rules of Engagement drawn up by the man that lives in the White House. Please comfort the families of the four Marines that lost their lives this past week due to this new policy.I ask in Jesus Name, that all the families be comforted with Your peace which passes all understanding, (Phil.4:7) that will guard their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, amen.
