Pray for our American Heroes

If the LORD had not been on our side— let Israel say— if the LORD had not been on our side when men attacked us, when their anger flared against us, they would have swallowed us alive; the flood would have engulfed us, the torrent would have swept over us, the raging waters would have swept us away. (Psalm 124:1-5)

Father in Heaven, we thank You for this day, knowing that we have it by Your strength. May we live it for You.

Lord, we bring before You our military. We pray that You would protect them wherever they go and give them victory wherever they fight. We pray especially for those who are separated from their children, that they would be at peace and know how to best act for their children. You are the greatest Father, and we ask that You would watch over these children.

Lord, we pray for the protection of Israel. Please keep her safe from the hatred of her enemies. We ask that You would endow all her leaders with wisdom.

Father, we pray always for the increase of Your church, that many would be saved and gathered in. We pray also for mercy for our nation.

Lord, You have done great things, and we trust in Your unfailing grace. You are the Rock of the ages, and You have invited us to take refuge in You. You are our hope and our salvation, and we praise You in the Name of our ever-living Redeemer, Amen.
