I ask you to pray for a young woman named Christa. She's 23-24 recently moved to rural Lousiana for a job. Since her move she has developed severe headaches and can feel increasing pressure in her head. This has caused both nose bleeds and weight loss because of the severity of the headaches.
Last week in the ER, a CT Scan was done and a tumor ruled out. The doctors gave her anti-depressants this week. She was admitted to a hospital yesterday. Pain meds aren't helping much. The doctors are running further tests.
Her fiancé is with her as her parents live on the East Coast.
Please lift up this remarkable young lady, her fiancé and her doctors.
Calling Prayer Warriors
Maybe she is allergic to something in the air down there? Where is she originally from?
Prayers and advice...
I have a professor who had the exact same symptoms. Her problem was too much cerebral spinal fluid pressure. It was diagnosed with a spinal tap. It took a long time to get the diagnosis because it is commonly overlooked. It is controlled with daily medication.
Prayers
She’s originally from VA, and went to college in Ohio. She was in Texas for a few months before moving to LA. I really wonder if it’s not environmental.
SURE. PRAYER REQ PING
I’d suggest
Pastor Henry Wright and also his book
A MORE EXCELLENT WAY.
HIs website is
BEINHEALTH.COM
IIRC.
It might be that a trip to his Georgia church would leave her healed quickly or at least on the road to walking it out.
He typically has lots of success with that type of thing, IIRC.
I join in earnest prayer for Christa!
Prayers.
Poor girl. I can relate to the severe headaches.
Sinus problems? Allergies? Mold?
Regardless, she’s in my prayers.
Prayers for the young lady.
prayers up.
Update:
Fiancé called to say they performed an MRA with contrast Magnetic Resonance Angiography which shows absolutely nothing abnormal.
Good news there, however, he indicated she is still in an enormous amount of pain and nothing they give her works to reduce the pain level.
The doctor says it looks like an abnormal type of migraine
She is going to a neurologist next week. Fiancé is upset to see her in so much pain.
He asked for prayers that the pain stops.
Thanks to all for your continued concern.
We will pray Jaded.Keep us updated please.(((((Hugs)))))
Hmm, looking on webmd.com doesn’t show nose bleeds with migraines. I’m not a doctor, but it sounds like something more than a migraine.
Prayers lifted.
Keeping Christa in my prayers.
I think mold is fairly prevalent in LA, and if there's a strain there that she's not used to that can make your system go wacko. Ditto with low air pressure. I get "barometric" migraines, and fight headaches in general on an almost daily basis.
ANTI-DEPRESSANTS???
It ticks me off that they just hand this stuff out like M&Ms.
Prayers for Christa. May they find out what the problem is (sounds either like severe migraines or allergies to me.
