I ask you to pray for a young woman named Christa. She's 23-24 recently moved to rural Lousiana for a job. Since her move she has developed severe headaches and can feel increasing pressure in her head. This has caused both nose bleeds and weight loss because of the severity of the headaches.
Last week in the ER, a CT Scan was done and a tumor ruled out. The doctors gave her anti-depressants this week. She was admitted to a hospital yesterday. Pain meds aren't helping much. The doctors are running further tests.
Her fiancé is with her as her parents live on the East Coast.
Please lift up this remarkable young lady, her fiancé and her doctors.

Prayers up indeed for Christa and relief of this pain.
She does not have a job there yet, correct? She went down there to look? If there are yet no roots then I would heed the wisdom of many here and GET HER OUT OF THERE!
Reactions to mold can be painful and stubborn, and mold can also kill you.
I've been down the "neurologist" road also. He/she will likely run a few more tests (defensive medicine) and assuming they come back negative he/she will offer Christa a choice between Depakote and Topamax, and the side effects of those are another whole prayer thread. I'm on Depakote, but only in the fall when my allergies are really horrible. As a migraine person I couldn't imagine living in a humid state where it never freezes.
Prayers up for God's wisdom as well as healing.
The pain meds are pretty useless for migraines, and many of them make the pain worse. Please post after the neuro visit, I may have useful "strategies."

Around these here parts those symptoms are caused by seasonal ragweed. However, she still needs to get those symptoms checked out seeing as how she’s never had them before. Prayers for your friend.

boy...I’m not a doc but sounds a little like a whole lot of stress. Hope they are looking into that as well and we can all thank God there was no tumor.
