Radio noise from distant cosmos is six times louder than expected.....
LONG BEACH, Calif. - Space is typically thought of as a very quiet place. But one team of astronomers has found a strange cosmic noise that booms six times louder than expected.
The roar is from the distant cosmos. Nobody knows what causes it.
Of course, sound waves can't travel in a vacuum (which is what most of space is), or at least they can't very efficiently. But radio waves can....

Somehow, I think it means trumpets instead of the Shofar.
Either one works for me, though.
Could very well be.
After all, God said that none would know when he would come but people have discounted that for ages. Personally I accept that at face value and live happy.
John Coltrane, Giant Steps
I guess maybe that is his trademark symbol. When googling images I came up with a Thread that had it in it.

When they Blow, we'll all know. We won't need some pencil neck geeks on a Government grant to tell us they think they heard something strange.

REVELATION 6:1
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

Just a space Twitter.
WOW..That’s strange....No more from the news about it...it figures!

Conceivably, I suppose.
However, I think those prophecies will be fulfilled in ways that the average person will perceive them more or less as stated.
Spend a little time reading up on pre-Copernican cosmology, then, if you dig that idea. The Harmonia Mundae, the music of the spheres, was a well studied phenomenon. The motion of planets, from a geocentric point of view, strike all sorts of chords and, yes, make music of a sort.
A good, basic, light primer on the subject would be The Little Book Of Coincidence, written by John Martineau for Wooden Books. I believe Amazon carries it. There's a set of five or six of these little books, by various authors, covering scientific matters from an older point of view, Platonic Solids and such, very interesting reading, not difficult at all.
Really nice, physical quality to the books themselves, too, the binding, the paper, the rare illustrations.
I tend to think the signs will be unmistakable and not open to debate or interpretation.
Scripture is full of references to space and stars. Here are a few:
Job 38:7 - Stars “sing”. They each give off a certain frequency that can be used to identify them.
I Corinthians 15:41 - Every star differs from another star.
Hebrews 11:12 - The stars are as numberless as the sands of the sea.
Yes but only for those who have the wisdom to understand them and what is happening, and from my understanding only the unbelieving and wicked will only understand after the rapture of the church has happened..
Have you read C. S. Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia, specifically, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and The Last Battle? In it, the stars of the Narnian world are portrayed as heavenly people.
(Trying to remember a passage from Dawn Treader:)
"In our world, a star is a great glowing ball of gas."
"Even in your world, Eustace, that is what stars are made of, but that is not what they are."
That’s my bias, as well.
Thanks.
There will likely be some mysteries and room for quibbling on some things that God wants to keep obscure from the enemy for some reason.
However, I believe that the vast majority of Biblically predicted things will be glaringly obvious and literally as predicted.
I Corinthians 15:35-58:
35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die;
37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body which shall be, but grain, it may be of wheat, or some other;
38 but God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh; but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 Also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial, and bodies telestial; but the glory of the celestial, one; and the terrestrial, another; and the telestial, another.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption;
43 It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;
44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit, that which is natural first, and not that which is spiritual; but afterwards, that which is spiritual;
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy; and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed.
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the sound of the last trump; for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
What is translated “trumpet” is Shofar. A shofar is made from a ram’s horn, and is not a musical instrument; it is an instrument of worship. It is blown at Yom Kippur.
