Petitions to God are called prayers. Petitions to the
Roman Catholic church and popes are invalid.
Luther had no reason to petition the church as God was his teacher. Luther had been to Rome and seen the filthy greed and immorality of the Vatican.
Paul’s Proviso was, if it were possible.
We know that most of the apostles were married and perhaps Paul had been at one time.
He said it was his right if he so wished.
Do you not understand the terrible temptation you place you priests under when you try to force celibacy upon men ewho have no gift to it?
***Petitions to God are called prayers. Petitions to the

Petitions are prayers, regardless of whom they are addressed to. Webster’s gives this:
prayer (prer)
noun
1.the act or practice of praying, as to God
2.an earnest request; entreaty; supplication
prayer definition - legal n
A request attached to the end of a pleading asking for specific damages or relief to which the plaintiff believes he is entitled.
We use both definitions depending on the circumstance.
***Luther had no reason to petition the church as God was his teacher.***
Have you read his writings? It was the image in his mirror.
***Pauls Proviso was, if it were possible.***
Paul instructed people to be celibate unless they couldn’t. That is the opposite of saying that you must be non celibate unless you couldn’t and has the opposite meaning.
***We know that most of the apostles were married and perhaps Paul had been at one time.***
How do you know this? Which Apostles were married during their time with Jesus or after?
***Do you not understand the terrible temptation you place you priests under when you try to force celibacy upon men ewho have no gift to it?***
Do you not understand that nothing is forced? There is a vow taken - the same vow that Martin Luther violated. If one wishes to go back on that vow, there are steps that can be taken without renouncing God and the Church. There are priests and nuns who find that they cannot go on in that capacity, and petition to have the vow revoked. In our parish, we have such an ex nun. She now serves God and the Church in a laic fashion.
While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. Matthew 12:46
Then Jesus' mother and brothers arrived. Standing outside, they sent someone in to call him. Mark 3:31
Now Jesus' mother and brothers came to see him, but they were not able to get near him because of the crowd. Luke 8:19
After this he went down to Capernaum with his mother and brothers and his disciples. Jonh 2:12
Hmmmmm... seems pretty plain to me.
You do err not understanding the Scriptures
If Jesus had brothers, where were they at the time of his Crucifixion? It seems to me that if any existed, they would have been there, at the foot of the Cross to support their mother in her sorrow.
Scattered, for the same reason the disciples scattered ...
... and why the distinction between disciples and brothers in John 2:12
***You do err not understanding the Scriptures***
Lousy comeback. If Scriptures are interpreted by the same agency that wrote and then selected them, they are interpreted correctly. If they are interpreted by every Tom, Dick and McGuire that wanders by, they will have no more understanding than the eunuch in Acts.
The command to Study the Scriptures “for in them ye think ye have eternal life,” are to individulals not institutions.
It is to individuals the Scriptures are written.
The Bible prophesies that, “They shall all be taught of God.” Not they shall all be taught of the Catholic Church.
If you depend upon any institution to cultivate an relationship between you and God you will die in your sins.
I have met few Roman Catholics who could exegete Scripture. And the reason they cannot is found in 1Cor 2:14.
Christ is the founder and leader of the Catholic Church.

So Most Catholics are without the Holy Spirit?
That's an astonishingly broad statement...a veritable judgment of a group based on your encounters with and beliefs about a few members of that group.
So are petitions to others.
The vow of celibacy of Catholic clergy is voluntary.
Abjectly false.
She is given to idolatry.
Abjectly false.
Works salvation.
Abjectly false.
and persecution of true believers.
Abjectly false.
Next to the Communists and Muslims, she has persecuted true believers more than any other organization.
Sounds like a statement from Communists and/or Muslims.
