If the Vatican has the liberal nuns worried, good for the Vatican.

The problem with allot of these “humanitarian” and “good works” project is they support humanism rather than Christianity. What I mean by that is they don't lift those able to overcome adversity UP. They enslave them to charity and “good works” of others and those enslaving them to their charity feel good about the “good works”.

The BBC hates Christians and thinks most white people are evil. the Pope needs to clean house at Notre Dame too. The whole American Catholic Church is too liberal and sucks up to illegals.

Do you suppose the Vatican has issues with Wiccan lesbian priestesses representing the Church?
How narrow!

I love this quote....
“Nuns once worked mainly in Roman Catholic schools and hospitals, but since the sweeping reforms of the Second Vatican Council in the late 1960s they have decided for themselves how best to do good in the world.”
Hello! Vow of obedience there Sister?

but since the sweeping reforms of the Second Vatican Council in the late 1960s they have decided for themselves how best to do good in the world. When I think about the fruits of Vatican II, avoiding the "interpretation" issue for a moment, well I smell rotting produce.

yup. Many have gone WAY off the reservation, so to say. WAY off. I know one that voted for Obama that said, “Abortion isn’t everything.” Liberal BS has taken over. Way over.

But senior figures in the Vatican are concerned that as nuns respond to the changing needs of US society, some have become too liberal. Ya think? Just a few weeks ago, a sister from some society or other gave 'witness' to the loaves and fishes and had the audacity to say that the multiplication did not truly happen. After all, Christ wasn't a "magician" (her word). The following week, our Pastor issued an apology in the bulletin to state that the multiplication was indeed real.
I wish he would have done it that day. In fact, looking back, I wish I would have stood up and called her on it during Mass.

Many orders of nuns, in my opinion, will be disbanded by the Vatican unless they return to orthodox views.
I think of the nuns who constantly speak out for the ordination of women in particular. You can see their obtuseness on Our Lady’s Warriors website under dissent.

The traditional orders, the ones who keep to the Habit and contemplation are not likely worried by the Vatican’s inquiry. Those orders are growing. The Modernist orders, the ones whose members would worry about the investigation, are withering away. The sort of young women who might be attracted to them go instead into social work in government agencies where the pay is better. These things work themselves out over time.
