My own Israelocentric ecclesiology would be most unwelcome in both the Roman Catholic and Orthodox traditions. The Old Testament notion that Israel is the bride is pretty much rejected by replacementalists who have arrogantly superimposed an artificial Gentilish-church view upon the plain meaning of the Hebrew scriptures.

When Messiah returns, he will take His place as King of the Jews and reside in Jerusalem; and rule from his throne on Mount Zion, in the temple, in the holy of holies on the place of the name of YHWH Tsabaoth. Israel will finally recognize Messiah and will be exalted. And we Gentile Christians will have the glorious privelege of participating in that grand kingdom.

The RCC and Orthodox and any other largely predominately gentile Christian organizations need to get off their high horses and realize that they aren't central ... Israel is...at least according to the holy, inspired scriptures we all claim to revere.

I'm sorry. Have you ever seen this?

I don't think the Catholic and Orthodox churches "claim to revere" the Hebrew Bible the way you do. The Catholic Church, however scandalous its current anti-Biblicist modernism, at least has it written down in a musty old decree somewhere that scripture is absolutely inerrant on all subjects but the Orthodox have never paid it much attention.

ok, so you think Gentiles are to be subservient to Israelites? Note of course that all Anglo-Saxons, Celts, Germanics, Italics, Greeks, Slavs, Arabs, Berbers, Chinese, Turks, Mongols, Japanese, Indics, Dravidians, Tai-Burmese-Tibetans, Malay-Indo-Philipino-Polynesian etc. are not Israelites, so you think we should all be subservient to them?

So Jesus is irrelevant. Jesus is not the center point in history, and God has something more important than His Son on His agenda. Wow! Whoda thunk it? I guess we'd better adopt the Jewish customer of using "CE" and "BCE" for dates, instead of AD and BC. After all, Jesus really isn't all that important. No need to summon all men into the King's ranks, especially if they're maintaining a millennia-long pout!

Yep.

And Matthew chapter 16, along with the entire Gospel According to Matthew is Israelocentric. Too many have taken selfish advantage of the word “church” in Matthew 16:13-19. That word could just as easily be speaking about the Kingdom Assembly (Israel dominant over the Gentile nations) when Israle’s King, Jesus Christ, rules on this earth, than anything else.

But church denominations as well as cults see the word “church” and say, “See there, that’s us!”

I have yet to have it Scripturally proved to me by anyone, even (excuse me, especially by) Landmark Baptists, that the “church” in Matthew ch. 16 refers to anything we see in this age at all.
