[Catholic Caucus] ALL president apologizes to FRC; Catholic activist calls it quits

I asked Judie Brown, president of American Life League, to comment on the latest media release from the Obama-loving, vomit-inducing Catholics United calling on the Family Research Council and the Stop the Abortion Mandate campaign to "suspend these efforts immediately," with CU's executive director Chris Korzen asserting that said efforts "pose perhaps the single greatest threat to the passage of health care reform."

Judie Brown's response:

Noted Catholic activist Stephen Brady has decided to dissolve his Petersburg, Illinois-based organization Roman Catholic Faithful.

The last few years have been particularly painful for Mr. Brady, with the loss of his son Daniel in a tragic automobile accident and subsequently suffering life-threatening injuries in a motorcycle accident.

In a letter recently mailed to RCF supporters, Mr. Brady wrote (edited):

While I don't necessarily agree with everything Mr. Brady has written, I do commend him for the work he's done to expose corruption in the Church, including the infamous St. Sebastian's Angels Web site scandal and the Father Andrew Greeley/Francis Pellegrini/Boys' Club controversy, which he, along with a few other individuals who live here in the violence-ridden Chicago area, investigated in 2000.

God bless Mr. Brady and his family. I wish them well.

I think both of these subjects reflect the disgust and frustration that those of us who are orthodox in our beliefs must be feeling in the past few years.

I think Stephen Brady, good man that he is, burned out years ago. Slowly the hierarchy is getting it’s act together. This will continue with or without Stephen Brady. I liked his organization, but it was never able to accomplish much on a large scale. Maybe this is for the best at this time.

Mr. Brady did good work when few people could.

It's my hope that Catholic blogs and forums are well-organized enough that much of the same work can take place. (The "St. Sebastian" types that still exist have likely learned how to go anonymous or under-the-radar, which would require pro work to investigate)
