Dear Father in Heaven, we come to You with joyful hearts,thankful to You for another day we are able to live for You!May we and all our American Heroes seek to please You in all we think,say and do."As we commit our bodies a living sacrifice,holy,acceptable to God which is a reasonable service."(Romans 12:1)

Today I lift up the Task Force Mountain Warriors,I ask Lord,that You protect these men as they pursue the enemy. Please give them the wisdom they need in order to complete their mission. Please help them see through mountains! " Be merciful to me for my soul trusts in You. And in the shadow of Your wings I will make You my refuge until these calamities have passed by."(Psalm 57:1)

Thank You, Mighty Lord, for making such Men of Valor! Men of faith in You,duty to their Country,love and devotion to their families and lifelong bonds to their brothers and sisters in arms.Please bless and protect each and every one of them wherever they may serve and may they always know how much their Country loves,honors and respects them.

Please Father of Compassion and Mercy, comfort their families while they are apart. I pray that they will seek Your Beautiful Face when they are lonely or afraid. You,alone can be their eveything and their comfort,and provide their every need. "Be anxious for nothing,but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving;let your request be made known to God and the peace of God which passes all undersrtanding;will guard your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ."(Phil.4:6)

Please Bless the body of Christ in the days ahead,may we be strong in the power of Your love,grace,holiness and Your living Word. Thank You for Your longsuffering and that Your mercies are new every morning.

AMEN DEAR SISTER AND GRACE TO ALL CHRISTIAN PATRIOTS!

“Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting
strength.”
- Isaiah 26:4

Seeing that we have such a God to trust to, let us rest upon him with all
our weight; let us resolutely drive out all unbelief, and endeavour to get
rid of doubts and fears, which so much mar our comfort; since there is no
excuse for fear where God is the foundation of our trust. A loving parent
would be sorely grieved if his child could not trust him; and how
ungenerous, how unkind is our conduct when we put so little confidence in
our heavenly Father who has never failed us, and who never will. It were
well if doubting were banished from the household of God; but it is to be
feared that old Unbelief is as nimble nowadays as when the psalmist asked,
“Is his mercy clean gone for ever? Will he be favourable no more?” David
had not made any very lengthy trial of the mighty sword of the giant
Goliath, and yet he said, “There is none like it.” He had tried it once in
the hour of his youthful victory, and it had proved itself to be of the
right metal, and therefore he praised it ever afterwards; even so should
we speak well of our God, there is none like unto him in the heaven above
or the earth beneath; “To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal?
saith the Holy One.” There is no rock like unto the rock of Jacob, our
enemies themselves being judges. So far from suffering doubts to live in
our hearts, we will take the whole detestable crew, as Elijah did the
prophets of Baal, and slay them over the brook; and for a stream to kill
them at, we will select the sacred torrent which wells forth from our
Saviour’s wounded side.
We have been in many trials, but we have never yet been cast where we
could not find in our God all that we needed.
Let us then be encouraged to trust in the Lord for ever, assured that his
ever lasting strength will be, as it has been, our succour and stay.

I join in prayer for our True American Heroes,that the Lord would comfort and protect them,bless and keep them and show them the full power and majesty of His love! That our Troops and our Country would lift their eyes to the Creator and bow their hearts to Him,I pray that the loyalty they practice in their jobs and service to our Country would shine through in their relationship with You O'Lord and that the love and faithfulness they show to their families,that they would show the same love and faithfulness to You Dear Lord. I pray that all Your children would stay true to You daily and have the desire to seek Your face,in Jesus' name I pray,amen.

Life, Love, Chocolate

An entry I read on a favorite blog caught my eye. It was the morning of his ninth wedding anniversary. Not having a lot of money, the writer ran out to get his wife, Heidi, their favorite French pastry—pain au chocolat. After sprinting several miles, he arrived home, exhausted, to find her in the kitchen just pulling a chocolate-filled croissant out of the oven. It was pain au chocolat.

That husband, Jeff, compared his life with Heidi to the lives of the people in O. Henry’s short story “Gift of the Magi.” It tells of a man who sold his lone possession of value—a pocket watch—to buy hair combs for his wife, who had sold her long, beautiful hair to buy a gold chain for his watch.

Having no money concerns would be great—but realizing the immeasurable value of the people we care about is more important. We sometimes need a reminder that acquiring “things” is not nearly as important as appreciating the people God has placed in our lives. When we practice putting others’ interests before our own (Phil. 2:3-4), we learn what it means to love, serve, and sacrifice. In fact, that’s how we pattern Christ in our relationships (Eph. 5:1-2).

Life, love, and chocolate taste better when shared with others.
