With the election of abortion-friendly President Obama, abortion advocates have been praising the return of science to issues of reproductive health. Conversely, I am an advocate for the health of the unborn and question what science has to do with abortion on demand. Attempts to rationalize the morality of the abortion issue with abortion advocates is a losing proposition when they believe in subjective morality, i.e. morality is defined by the majority or, in this case, by the loudest contingent of the population. Therefore, lets evaluate the issue on a more scientific basis...
IB4TZ?
Leftists don't mean the same thing everyone else does when they use that word. To them, it is sort of like "gay" after the sodomites took it over.
On the bright side, they don't have "science pride" parades where people who were too bad at math to get real degrees throw sociology pamphlets and carbon credit indulgence tokens at people along the sidewalks yet.
Maybe we should take a page from the Liberal Playbook and demand they have an “Abortion Tax” of several hundred thousand dollars. This could then be used to fund Health care just like smoking taxes fund S-CHIP.
Smoking is seen as a horrible crime, but Abortion is not, maybe it needs to be taxed then.
People choose to smoke, they choose to have an abortion. Same diff right?
I’ll bet the left would oppose any such tax because it would “hurt the poor”, but what about the taxes on junk food, alcohol, gasoline, and cigarettes. That hurts the poor as well.
