Signs are evident we are living in a spiritually prophetic age. Many have deep seated questions about our times and are frantically searching for answers wherever they can to find them. Intellectuals are turning to lost civilizations like the Mayans and the ambiguous predictions of Nostradamus to satisfy a need for truth. Theyve even dug up some of old Merlins psychic prophesies to learn what he said about the end of the world we wont repeat them here. Their conclusion after gathering all the prophetic material: All sources agree, the world will end in 2012. It cant be a coincidence after all, since so many diviners, psychics from barbaric primitive times agree. If the world is going to end in just three years from now, why should we be worried about global warming? Why worry about saving the economy? Think!

Sooner.
If so, I’m sure Obama will blame Bush.
At any particular time? I want to get my hair done.

LOL
It could be December 20th, 2012 for all we know. Or not.
We have to repent and believe upon Jesus Christ and then live every single day like He could return any moment. The parable of the wise and foolish virgins in Matthew 25:1-13 instructs us in this.
The virgins who were wise were not called that because they knew the time of the bridegroom’s return (both groups were asleep), but they were ready with oil for their lamps. They had been prepared for his coming.
Likewise, we are “asleep” in much the same way - we’re unaware of the exact time of the return of the Lord (although I would say there are signs of his return). He wants us to be ready.
Exactly!
I don’t care when the world ends. I’m ready.
I do that, but I live in hurricane country. On the other hand, I’ve always done it, some of us are just preparers. There could be a lot of reasons to want food etc on hand. I think people who don’t are the crazy ones.
Yep.
lol...
Exactly
That is very close to what I have been saying. The Mayan calendar doesn't call for the end of the world, just an end to things as we know it as there will be an abrupt change. I say that if this comes to pass it will because Obama will lose the election and refuse to leave office and try a take over of the government...the reaction will what you said.
If The Star, The Globe, The National Enquirer and Shirley McClain say it will end, then I’ll believe it./sarc
I swear I once saw Ringo Starr at a bus stop in Gillette, Wyoming.
according to my Bible, only God knows what will be or not be. why on earth would anyone believe a bunch of pagans would have a clue? the mayans so called “advanced” civilization was nearly wiped out by spaniards carrying highly advanced (for the time period) weapons and diseases. did the mayans see that coming? nope. so why should anyone think they have some great psychic insight into the rest of eternity? and as for merlin...feh, he makes for good legend and fiction but if he really existed at all he was just another kook looking for attention.
“I have. It makes me think a lot of folks innately realize that something bad is on the horizon”
I agree. The US people have bought into the idea that Obama will save us. Not only will he not save us, his ideas are almost guaranteed to lead us to ruin.
I actually have a crystal ball. it is very pretty, kind of heavy, and collects dust at an alarming rate of speed, but it is not very informative. grab a beer instead.
Really? I didn’t know Calendars contained messages.
I suspect the Mayan world as they knew it ended a long time ago
