Welcome home. What a great testimony. This sounds like you trekked up an actual hill. Is it close to where you live? Or were you on a pilgrimage.

I know that our local monastery/seminary Mount Angel has a Way of the Cross up the hill. It’s beautiful.

I couldn’t use the neosporin, however. I’m allergic to neomyacin and break out from it.

It is Tucson, AZ where we go in the winter and plan to be here permanent one day soon. It is in town or outskirts and our class and the RCIA were invited to attend. We attended Mass with the nuns in their chapel first. We also prayed the Rosary at their St. Bernadette shrine outside. Being in the desert and trekking up the mountian all rocky and rough made me think of Christ’s journey and how rough to walk for him with a real cross to carry. I didn’t get blisters, but the front of my thighs ached for a couple of days.
