PRAY for Revival & Conversion,for Obama, our Nation, Media, Government,& Judiciary Day 117

9For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

10That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

11Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

12Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

16For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Dear Heavenly Father, We thank You for this day and for each moment of Freedom that we have. We ask for Your forgiveness when we squandor that freedom, or even worse, use it for licentiousness. The fact that we are still breathing and not under judgment is a testimony to Your grace which we do not deserve. And yet, we know that the fact that You have graced us and the fact that we are still here means You have a plan for our lives that fits into Your ultimate plan for civilization. Pretty awesome thought. One that brings peace in a world where there is no peace.

Father, there are 'movers and shakers' in this world who live under the delusion that they control things. They have their little pawns who play out a chess game that affects lives, fortunes, nations. They live for greed. They live for power. And they do not know You. I pray that spiritual awakening will come to that group of elites. Many will scoff and say it can not happen; yet, even the callous centurion, and the up and comer Saul of Tarsus were no match for the power of Your Holy Spirit. So we pray for the Soros's the Rockefellers, the Kissingers, the Rothschilds, and every other power broker whose names we have all heard for a very long time - who seem to be in power even when the other power structures collapse. We pray that You would convince them of the utter futility and immorality of the course they are on adn that they would come to know You.

We pray for the Washingtonians - some of which are just deceived, and some of which have seemingly sold their souls. They care not about the people of this nation and some are actively working for its destruction. Destroy their capability to hurt us, Lord. And shake them up to the point that they repent of the evil course they are on.

I pray for the Wall Street brokers who only have money as their god and comfort. Show them where they are missing the boat before it is too late for them. The market will surely crash again. They need to know You, else they will think money is all there is and will fall to despair. Erase greed from their minds and allow them to have money in its right place - not evil in and of itself, but evil when it is elevated to the be all and end all of why we live.

And I pray for Your church. Revive her, Lord. Revive Your people. Your inheritance. Have her rise above the many sins which beset her. Have her claim her privileges in You. Help her, Lord, to overcome.

And I pray all of these things in the blessed and holy and matchless name of Christ Jesus my Lord, Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, we pray for our leaders in Government during this challenging time. We pray that they seek your counsel, and that you would change their hearts of stone to hearts of flesh, that they would first consider what is good for their country, before party or power. That they would come to know You. Not speak of You in public just to gain trust and votes from the people, but to really know You as we on this thread have come to know and revere You.

Dear Heavenly Father, we also pray for those who have lost their jobs, their retirement, their savings or their homes during this turbulent economy. We pray that if they do not already know You, that they come to You sincerely and know the peace that only You can bring.

Dear Father, we also pray for our President. We pray that the President grows in knowledge and wisdom, and that he learns to do what is right for the people who have elected him. We also pray that he really gets to know You, to get past the false teachings he has learned from the Reverend Wright. We pray that you protect him, and his family from physical harm.

We pray this in your son’s name.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We earnestly ask Your Mercy in this time. Revive us, Lord, and start with ME. We ask in the Name of Jesus that You bind the Satanic powers that have over-whelmed Washington and our nation momentarily; we know that his power is NO MATCH for Yours, and his doom is sure.

Help us to be the light to our fellow citizens who are in darkness and confusion with all that is going on. Help us to represent You well, and when necessary, point them toward the light of the truth which will set all of us free.

In Jesus Name I Pray, AMEN.

Father, Your Word says that if Your disciples believe, they will receive whatever they ask for in prayer (Matt 21:22). Lord, as You mature me in my faith, teach me how to pray and ask of You in prayer. I have so much to learn. Keep teaching me, Father. Lord Jesus, according to Your Word, You are not bothered by our requests. Once, when others told a synagogue ruler not to bother You any more with his request, You ignored what they said and told the man, “Don’t be afraid; just believe’” (Mark 5:35-36). Help me not to be discouraged when I pray. Help me not to be afraid—but believe! In Jesus name, Amen
