I was thinking of attending there worship. I have admired many of thier teachings on Sabbath Observance Healthy Living, Chatiable Giving and Prophetic teachings. However I am not sure if all thier doctrine is sound.
I understand Ellen G White is the founder of this church In brief, she was a woman of remarkable spiritual gifts who lived most of her life during the nineteenth century (1827-1915), yet through her writings she is still making a revolutionary impact on millions of people around the world.
During her lifetime she wrote more than 5,000 periodical articles and 40 books; but today, including compilations from her 50,000 pages of manuscript, more than 100 titles are available in English. She is the most translated woman writer in the entire history of literature, and the most translated American author of either gender.
Her writings cover a broad range of subjects, including religion, education, social relationships, evangelism, prophecy, publishing, nutrition, and management. Her life-changing masterpiece on successful Christian living, Steps to Christ, has been published in more than 140 languages. Seventh-day Adventists believe that Mrs. White was more than a gifted writer; they believe she was appointed by God as a special messenger to draw the world's attention to the Holy Scriptures and help prepare people for Christ's second advent. From the time she was 17 years old until she died 70 years later, God gave her approximately 2,000 visions and dreams.
Who are the Apostate Churches today? can they easily be recognized?. It is simple to recognize apostate teachings, such as acceptance of homosexuality or teaching another way of salvation other than Jesus Christ, but is there additional teachings of apostate we should be looking for?...If we are not observing the Saturday Sabbath are we apostate? Thoughts on this?
So it’s basically a civil religion, with sermons on mountains, the death penalty, race relations and such? Did you ever see someone preach from a religious canon?
F, you are terribly confused as usual. This thread is about sda - not mormonism.
Nice attempt at misdirection.
As usual, ya’ll choose to not face the way ya’ll will use anything that sounds good to you, and ya’ll do not care if it is true or not, as long as it makes your conclusion look good.
Do you believe your words and actions here at FR are proper?
Yes I do.
Then I guess someone will have to continue to clean up the lies you help others spread by posting only the articles that match you conclusions, and your doing that without caring if the information is true or not.
Hi TaraP-
I just read your post from back in March 2009 and joined this group so as to respond. I hope I am not overly critical. You wrote your father was a member and that you found the SDA people very friendly. [BTW- please over look misspelled words when you get old it seems to happen.]
I am now 67 years old and was born and raised in the SDA church as well as tought the docturens and I am the only member of my family that did not go into the work. I came up through the system, church school then academy. I removed my name on my 60th birthday as a present to myself. I studied my way right out of the organization because I used only the KJV Bible.
You ask “Is the Church of 7th Day Adventist an Apostate Church?” The answer to this is a YES!!! The answer is way beyond the space needed in this small forum.
Before I go into a long winded answer, I will ask you if you still want to know the truth about the SDA religuos group? If so I will try and help.
Be sure that the teaching on the 7th day Sabbath is CORRECT!!! And that it does have great significants for the future, but in modern Adventist group it is mainly disregarded.
Of the top 10 reasons why I removed my name is over there teaching on prophecy. It no longer is as correct as it could be or should be.
>>”...However I am not sure if all thier doctrine is sound.”
As far as the old teachings, before 1980,[the church split in 1980] they are sound. What it is teaching today is open for question.
>>”Who are the Apostate Churches today? can they easily be recognized?.”
Yes, TaraP they can. If you know the Bible the false Christians can be easly seen for what they are. This took me over 50 years to see and have mine eyes opened. Example, if the group has a 501c(3) from the IRS, they would be an apostate religious group.
For now,

what do you think, Tara?
btw, nice motorbike — what’s the longest trip you’ve ever taken? how did the bike handle?
Wow..
Cronos...I forgot about this 2 yr old thread I posted...
What do I think?
I do not think the 7th Day Adventist is Apostate..
I think the Church that teaches another message about salvation hell and scripture is Apostate....
What message about salvation and hell and scripture?
