wow.
What you said is self-contradictory. You are a “religious Christian” but you don’t believe in divine Providence?
As usual your post is more than a little ignorant.
Very touching story.
May his newly affirmed faith find his voice.
I found much more cause for rejoicing in this story than this particular detail you bring up.
I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking so.
If that is so, let them step forward to let us be aware of it and we will rejoice with them also.
It’s not self contradictory at all. One can believe in divine providence but also believe God had nothing to do with this plane crash landing safely.
The two concepts are not mutually exclusive (that is to say, divine providence is real, but that’s not to say he saved this particular plane).
Do I read that correctly??? Is this beneficiary of the Miracle of Mother Mary now going to sue the airline??? He wasn't happy enough having his life spared by the Queen Mother??? You think Mary told him to SUE???
You ever read that verse about the beam in the eye???
Read the article next time, not just the blog.

You had better check your wording, which is not consistent with the concept of Providence.
You need to familize yourself with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. It is not a Marian prayer.
“Lots of things happen at 3:00 pm. BTW, was it 3:00 pm on the East coast or 3:00 pm”
To God, all points in time are present in their immediacy.
Providence - God seen as a protective force that oversees people’s lives.
That God may directly intervene now and then isn’t evidence that he always intervenes. That a plane has a successful crash landing doesn’t mean that God was at play in that specific event.
You ever read? You really should before you come in swinging that club to bash things you don't understand.
Give it a break.
Not exacty. God is not Zeus, a superhuman being who plays with the lives of people, but the Creator who holds our very existence in his hands. There is no theodicy involved where the Olympian gods are concerned, for they are simply beings who emerged from other beings who in turn emerged from chaos. If he responsible for the large universe of the stars , and for the small unverse of the atom , why not for us specks of dust? Our reason is great enough to discern the order about us, and the disorder, but not the whole.

Obama Says A Baby Is A Punishment
Obama: If they make a mistake, I dont want them punished with a baby.
What does it cost us to say: "My God help me! Have mercy on me!" Is there anything easier than this? And this little will suffice to save us if we be diligent in doing it.
-- St. Alphonsus Liguori
It was a Catholic.
Deal with it.
