For liberals, liberalism IS their religion. So politics and prayer ar ethe same thing to them.

The “Chosen One” is at best spiritual. He is not religious. Religion has rules and does not always make you feel good at the moment. Religion is about you getting closer to G_d. Spirituality is about god getting closer to you. IMHO
