Author, counselor, minister, mentor, philosopher, spiritual guide... Roy Masters has been described by many different titles but he prefers to be known simply as Roy. Roy Masters believes that titles or any robes of office places a person at an unfair advantage. He believes a true mentor and spiritual guide should be respected for the truths he conveys, the example he sets and for the selfless dedication he practices.
Roy Masters has devoted his life to understanding the fundamental concepts of Christianity and helping others to discover the joys and true meaning of faith

Had a heckuva time getting my computer tuned in, missed the first hour as a result, unfortunately unlike radio show don't have an immediate replay to listen to.
Master’s a wacko. Do you really buy his line of crap?
Do you really NOT?
What are they blasting him for? What are they talking about? I really hate missing him.
That question makes a whole not of NONSENSE.
Wow, the Master's followers really are nuts.
I tuned in to listen for a bit. He was saying people should not put him on a pedestal for the 10 minutes or so I heard.
That’s good advice.
Oh wow, and that makes him a great guy who will save us.
Subtle Scientology, interesting to watch.

I came on to one of these threads a week ago and posted the wikipedia page on him, which is pretty intersting. Because of this I got put on the ping list. In other words my gut says: avoid. So I decided to listen. That was my report. He meanders a lot, I did appreciate he's not saying he is something special. Though his followers here on FR seem to make some veiled claims for him. For instance the Jesus tending the flock next to Roy talking to the class borders on the blasphamous, in my opinion.
On the other hand: At least he professes Christianity or a fairly orthodox type. He's not saying Krishna or Buddha is god.
He's not my cup of tea, to be sure, but he doesn't seem to be in the same league as the bad gurus.
I know nothing about Scientology and am not really interested in what it is about, but in what way do you consider Master's idea Scientology?
P.S. Is your life 'perfect'? If so then show me how to overcome my faults, since that's what Roy has and is helping me to do, also let me know what can be done about the Marxist takeover of America, something Roy addresses on his program nightly. Pls let me know when the Jean S show airs, I'll be gald to tune in, thanks!
God also sent Roy Masters to teach His Word in a special way suited to today's circumstances, also done in an informal, unritualized manner, in other words Jesus preached and answered people's questions to their everyday problems, Roy preaches and answers peoples questions to their everyday problems. He's continuing the work that Jesus started.
I'll ask you the same question I asked Jean, is your life perfect, have you solved all your personal problems, no you haven't, that's where Roy can most likely help you, do you know how to handle the liberal enemy and the coming Obama Apocalypse? If you do let me know, then maybe I'll stop listening to Roy and start listening to you. Roy Masters is not for everybody, he should be but he isn't , Narrow is the way and very few will ever find what that way is, Roy knows the way to the Way, do you?
And no you are not on the ping list, There were 5 radio show threads posted last week, and you weren't pinged once, however because you have a slight interest in Roy, I thought I would ping you for today's Sunday discussion. If you would rather I never ping you again, no problem.
The replay will no doubt be on the website mid-week, if you get a chance to check it out, it was a sight to behold, you know Roy Master’s is a handful just by himself but he and some guy in the audience were taking turns mentally tag-teaming this poor guy on stage, Roy even challenged him to a physical fight and said he would whip him, lol, it was rough, I think Roy was trying to break him.
Sounds great! What was the guy doing there?
Hi Abigail2!
In case you missed it Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson was on Bill Cunningham radio show yesterday. He had a great line:
“This election was about black racism and white guilt”
What a shame this country doesn’t learn about great leaders like Jesse, Terry Anderson, etc. and only gets a chance to elect the likes of Obama and his Chicago crime machine.
My first reaction to Roy was “Oh no.. here’s a male Oprah who wants to tell you you have problems where none exist. Time went on and I thought I’d give Roy another try.. I actually listened this time and what he said made a lot of sense, he was talking about me and a lot of people I know.. some of it I didn’t want to hear.. it would be too much work to confront my demons (and we all have them). Issues I have lived with all of my life.. Why stir everything up when you can live in ignorant bliss.. right? Even painful emotions feel so much a part of you, they become your identity. You become comfortable with what is killing you.. You wouldn’t know how to live without them.. You’re not sure you could live without them.. So you smoke, drink or whatever it is you do to drown out you conscience. You embrace the bad and forgo the good.. Isn’t that what Liberals do??
The main thing I got out of Roy show was that we must be honest with ourselves first.. He sometimes sounds cultish, but the difference is.. Roy isn’t asking you to follow him.. He’s asking you to follow Your conscience given to you by God. Tell me how that can be a bad thing.
