Catholics and, for the love of God, everybody else, please FReep this poll.
http://salsa.wiredforchange.com/o/1548/t/286/survey.jsp?survey_KEY=179
Catholics United is the front group that organized Catholics for Obama. The organizers, Chris Korzen and James Salt, are veterans of Catholics for Kerry, and literally never saw a pro-abort Catholic they didn't try to paint haloes and auras around.
They make very clever use of Catholic symbols, documents and God-talk to promote their Kmiec-style deviationism.
In this poll I'm asking you to FReep, they want feedback on what their lobbying priorities ought to be. Check "common-ground ways to reduce abortions." What they mean by that? Who knows? But I'd like them to be challenged to make that their far-and-away highest priority. Let's try to get it stratospherically high. Just to see.

Done! Good luck with this. These people are just awful. They don’t follow the teachings of the Church.

Ping-a-ling. You might also want to join them in order to comment on their blog, if you can stand it. (I have a hard time controlling my anger, but I guess sometimes that’s what one has to do.)

Good grief! What choices! The only thing the Catholic Church (my church) should be preaching about from that list is anti-abortion. At least IMHO!

I would bet all my prayer cards that “Common ground abortion reduction initiatives” means handling out birth control pills to teenage girls and teaching kindergartners how to put prophylactics on vegetables. What a rotten group.

Yeah, even their “anti-abortion” line isn’t. “common ground abortion reduction” is a code word for keeping abortion legal and pretending that you hope that the number of abortions goes down.

I voted: even if some of these issues are pending, Good Gosh! Health Care over the Rights of the Unborn and really, as I read someone say in a blog, the unborn to be shredded and vacuumed out, excuse me, these people who vote for some of these other issues just have dark dark souls themselves and should examine if they are Catholics and their consciences I say in a non-judgmental way. Let them

Over the top! Check the votes.
It may be that these people would include abortion as part of their idea of health care. So they are contradictory as well.
